Mybe is a myth

I don't care how many people believe that Mbye is a myth,he did let the last try in with absolute poor fullback performance,however he is usually controlled in tough circumstances…my main whinge is that the greatest myth of all time ...that is Mr Brooks should of closed the game out with 2...yes 2 cracks at field goal and missed both times...what did he do...he hung his head...well let me tell you a playmaker with his HYPE for years should have positioned himself and thought about closing the game out long before his p.sspoor attempts at goal....call me whatever you like the bloke has had many chances at this level..ok last year he was ALMOST Dally M half of the year ...now I know why...the other halves were pretty ordinary in their subsequent opportunities.
If we are to progress to finals footy then Maguire has to start culling the imposters in this team and cop it on the chin until we can recruit blokes with some ticker..going back to what I said about Brooks and his thinking about closing the game..see how old mate Nathan Cleary took his opportunity and you can see why Brooks wont play Origin for a while....
 
And while Im at it,if this is Lukes team,then you would think he has the balls to start calling the shots in a big way…the little schoolboy shyness doesn't cut it at NRL level...go model gloves or sox for a living...he has been handed an NRL team most kids dream of and all he offers is the garbage week in week out in regard to forwards not doing their job or Benji and Farah take over..its all crap to me ..if you play NRL manup or get the hell out of the arena and let someone with some guts and determination have a go....he is on big money don't forget for someone of his age,,,start producing or step down...

That's my input for the time being ...feel free to give me as much as you guys like ….it wont change my OPINION of the bloke ,I have had his back long enough...he is on his own until he shows me more...
 
He looks not 100% fit and when a player knows there's something not right with his body he'll play like it. i just wish he would offer more in attack, when he did last night, it looked laboured and not thought out.

and then you watch Tedesco for the roosters and you think, wow, now thats a fullback. massive gulf in class atm.
 
Looks like he doesn't know what his role is in attack. Very unsure when to chime in
 
Would be nice if he passed the ball once in a while too. I appreciate commentators applaud his defence but his ability in attack in non existent. Twice he chimed into the backline on the fifth tackle close to the tryline and both times just ran into the line and got tackled for a turnover with no attempt to kick or pass. We have a spine where everyone just wants to do there own thing. Disappointing that Reynolds who had the reputation coming form the dogs as a no pass running six is our most team oriented spine player.
 
You say that like they voluntarily let him go. Letting Fifita go was a huge mistake. With Tedesco, there was nothing they could do. Once the Roosters come calling with their chequebook, that’s it.
 
Mbye has no position.
Isn't impressive at fullback, hooker or in the halves.

Maybe he's a centre.
Idk.

I still think Mbye, Reynolds, Brooks and Liddle combination will finally click in place under Madge management.
Might take a little time but potential is there.
This is not a year to get overly picky about positions on the table.
If we get anywhere near the top eight we will need luck as I think there are too many holes in our roster ….. particularly centre, wing and lock posies. And we do need that game breaker in the team.
So it will be interesting. It’s only sport, and players aren’t robots ... don’t take it all too seriously. Enjoy the rollercoaster ride.
 
Doesn't run & can't set up outside men. Contributes absolutely nothing and rarely gets involved.
 
The whole thing with the resigning of teddy, woodsy, Moses and Brooks was handled badly and all the dramas at the time have cost us dearly. The team should have been built around Brooks, teddy and woodsy and maybe we would have a much better team today.
 
Mbye is an OK player, personally think he is still not 100%.

In a side with superstars around him he would look good, the problem is he has average players left right and centre.

Would be a good squad player at a decent club, but here he's the captain…
 
the thing is though, we NEED to aim for the top 8 and semi finals footy, we need to be as high up that table as possible. because thats the only way we can attract those top players. we have to finally break this self repeating cycle.
