Naiqama - Re-Signs till 2018..

Everyone's mentioned his defence, so I'll leave that one. Had plenty of ability in attack and the most unorthodox catching technique I've seen, and seemed to be a great influence around some of our younger Poly boys. Deservedly captained his country, and I'd say he can be proud of everything he's done in his career to date. Certainly never shirked his duties. All the best to the Fresh Prince if he does leave, would love to keep him for depth but will never begrudge a guy of that sort of standard leaving for a secure future.

Kevin has a go every game but just not at the level required ….I think Nofo should be more critised for his defensive issues and his decline in form that can not be said of KN.

That is an interesting point. Some people dismiss Frozone because even his peak performance isn't particularly great, but other people can see value in his consistency, even if it's not outstanding form.

There are people in either camp that take a different position in regards to Nofo - some see his potential and periods of great form, others see big deficits that hold him back from bigger things.

I said it before, I'm alright with Frozone as a winger. He's not a good FG centre but he's a competent winger, not his fault that the club played him at centres for a long period.

Geo is always making the point that Nofo's defensive errors are part of the bigger systematic breakdown, and whilst I mostly agree with that, I've not seen so many defensive issues with Frozone at wing. Centre definitely he's made lots of mistakes, but less so at wing and I tally them every week, so I have been paying attention. So either the left-side system is working better than RHS or Frozone is just a better defensive winger than Nofo.

I liked it when Kevin watched Fergo catch the ball on Sunday…I think he was on the wing...I think he even gave a little clap..

Good luck at fullback this week Kev..

Good luck in the ESL Kev (assuming his does get signed by an ESL club) where I'm sure your attacking skills will be appreciated and may your defensive lapses be few and far between (one can live in hope)!!

As much as Kev is probably not the way we want to go next year, I can't say a bad thing about him. Sure he's had some shockers but he's not alone there. Someone made a point the other day that his highlight reel would look awesome. On that basis he has given fans some great moments and has been a pretty cool guy to have in the club in general - certainly a much better club man than a lot the Tigers have put up with. He's also been a great ambassador for us and for his country.

I like Kev and can only wish him well for the future!

Always been professional whilst he's been at wt. Sure he's had some shocking moments on the field but can't deny that he gives it his best when out there. Think his brother is still playing over in England too. Anyway, good luck over in the UK kev if that's where you land.

Had a great year last year for us. Thanks for everything you've done and good luck in the future kev.

If last year was a "great" year for him i hate to think what a "bad" year looks like.He was a disgrace last year the worst defensive player i have seen in first grade

Did you have your eyes closed whenever moses was near the ball? You must'nt watch much first grade to call him the worst you've ever seen. No hes not the best defender but certainly aint the worst.

Kev has had the odd highlight here but most of his footy with us has been trash.
Managed 60 first grade games with us…you are welcome Kev....38 more than he deserved.

I have watched football for over 50 years(back to unlimited tackle) and i believe he is the worst. As far as moses is concerned he is also poor but he is 6 years younger he may improve

I can't possibly imagine Rugby League being unlimited tackle now days.

Not sure if it's still happening.. Warrington have just signed Peta Hiku.

I like Kev, but he was the one who fronted the coach and said he wanted to play in the centres and get off the wing.
He's a wholehearted player and, unlike some others, I think he's a long way short of being being as bad as made out.

But he did deserve 22 games?

He's a bit of a downhill skier. He looked dangerous with the ball last year when we had our best season in 4 years. It was some compensation for his defence. He's struggled in all facets this year. Hasn't been much of a threat with the ball.

The best thing league ever did was to get rid of the boring unlimited tackle.I can remember games where a team would takr the lead and then play mistake free football with the ball only in the hands of the forwards the game was much poorer for it

Kev was ok on the hit and stick. His problem was reads and patterns. Moses sux at all of it.

He's alright as a winger, defensively also. I've seen far worse wingers for Wests Tigers over the years - loads of them in fact.

For a bloke who was a fringe FGer and only played 23 FG games before we signed him, he's posted 60 with us and done well.

agree
