Think Brooks would've carved the shark's up in that 2nd half yet Cleary has no real impact at all

I'm just a bit worried though with some rumours of late that now the panthers are out we may name Merrin or Tamau as signings

I’m sure Brooks signed for 400k - basically he was the last man standing in the so-called BIG 4 and playing terrible back then.. in any case he lifted significantly this year and can build on that now - give him 750k at least, chuck in a Block Monopoly game for Luke and he may well end up with an apartment in St Kilda to boot!
We have cut so many players so we have plenty in the coffers…

It's a no brainer isn't it. We need some forwards like Kikau and backs like Waqa Blake. We would be a lot better team with either of those two in our team than with NC.

Kikau and David Fifita in the second row would be a dream! However, at this stage I'd settle for Tamou up front and Hetherington in the backrow, alongside Matterson to bolster our pack.

Id still take Nathan. Gould and Ivan have placed a ridiculous amount of pressure on the kid with all the talk and media focus the last couple of months.

Once the dust settles he will keep improving.

Late in the game he kept trying to take on the forward, running fast and straight. It was a very good sign. Players that arent up to it run sideways and go away from their game.
