If anyone is still affected by floodwaters can they give us an update please? 👍

There’s some pretty severe flooding here today we had an absolute downpour last night, officially had 80mm next door neighbour rain gauge overflowed 150mm plus.

Prob a dumb question, but is that Macquarie River your talking about, if it is I can recall someone saying it has a history of flooding.

Yes it is the Macquarie river, there’s a low level bridge over the river it normally gets flooded every 5 years, this year it’s been flooded about 7 times.

I just seen on the local news that the small communities of Molong, Canowindra, and Eugowra have been basically destroyed by the flooding.
We often travel to Molong and some of those smaller towns for Sunday drives, and have a meal and help support them.
Looks like we’ll be doing some more drives when things settle down.

Wow. Lets hope people use their brains and not try to drive over flooded crossings etc. Thanks for the update mate.
 
NZ EMERGENCY TEAMS DEPLOYED
- CENTRAL WEST #NSW
- 8:25PM, Monday 14th November
The NSW SES has requested international assistance to assist with the ongoing flood emergency across the state.
A team of 24 personnel from New Zealand Fire and Emergency will be arriving into Sydney from tonight before travelling to the Central West tomorrow.
These teams have experience in Incident Management including planning, public information, logistics, resources and air support.
The deployment will last one month.
