I've made it no secret about my feelings towards Marshall this yr, and maybe there is some bias in what im saying considering i hate Souffs but i don't give a toss atm. But the way channel 9 fawned over the pommies and their mother almost made me physically sick. How could anyone who isn't a Souffs get behind this bandwagon, its embarrassing. Why i mentioned Marshall was because in his last home game, his last game covered by channel 9, he gets pushed to the side in favour of the Pommies and their mother. The whole thing is sickening, and if they crash and burn come finals time, i'll need plastic surgery to get the smile off my face.

I had to keep my rant PG to abide by forum rules. I could be a lot more colouful and creative if i was allowed to be.

Don't agree with you much mate but I had the same rant when the pre match show was all about the brothers. Who gives a rats if they're brothers!

I don't give a rats about the Burgess brothers. If they were playing at individual clubs the only one they'd be talking about is Sam.

That was sickening & disgraceful. Marshall deserved better than that, poor form an all.

They love winners….are you guys only just realising this?

Whether you like it or not, a story about how 4 brothers travelled to a new country and all are playing for the side who will most likely win the comp is a story. Benji is leaving the game...not retiring.

I understand the coverage.
 
Agree 100%. Would have been respectful to take the presentation to Benji but instead we've got Fittler trying to hook himself a cougar being forced down our throats.

Why did they interview the slapper after the siren.

God I hate 9\. The lubed up SBW crap at the start of the year and now this anal massaging.

The SBW voice over when he ran on the field in his first game back was worse. That was embarrassing.

For God's sake, Smeg - she's a decent lady who has done a great job bringing up these boys, practically on her own. She has every right to be proud of her sons and doesn't deserve to be called a slapper - Jesus! Be ticked off at the Channel 9 coverage if you like, but lay off someone who is just being a happy mum.

It was annoying, no doubt, but what annoyed me most was the freaking ten minute interview with the four blokes before the game, and the constant showing of Souths replays throughout the pre-game.

And then comes the "oh yeah, almost forgot, it's a tigers home game and some guys have got milestones or something."
