Good luck to all of them. They'll need it. Change starts at the top. The board, the CEO, the coaching staff everything should've been kicked out in 2012 IMO but better late than never.

Your example wasn't chosen wisely. The Board of Netball Australia is one of the most impressive in World Sport. The breadth and depth of their commercial, legal and management experience is just about unequalled. I never want to see another Board, be it the Wests Tigers, Balmain or the Magpies with names like Leo, Hobbs, Bailey, Di Girolamo et al. These meat tray sellers, quasi celebrities, fanboys, starstruck lawyers and ex players are chief among the reasons we now see this Club with a toxic and dysfunctional atmosphere

First Board meeting on Sunday night. The new board has expertise that we are in desperate need of. This is good news for our club.

Whether anyone likes it or not , this is the board we now have, even at their worst they can't be worse than what we had. So why start death riding them on day 1?
Give them a chance for God's sake , they may be just what we need.
Just the fact that we now have a board ,backed and appointed by the NRL may be able to push a new coach over the line(like Griffin). Under the old board who would want to touch us.

we should all be welcoming them to the club and be happy about the chance to turn the club around. No doubt if they don't do their job then the knives will be out again , but at the moment lets see if this club can unite for once.

Good appointments, good news. Hopefully they will now make a decision on the coach for 2015 based on what's best for the club and not part of some deranged agenda

The main thing we now have a board that will be making decisions for the Weststigers and not Wests or Balmain and that can only be a good thing.

Okay I am not expecting overnight miracles and plenty of independent boards make some crappy decisions, but I am optimistic that we are now in a lot better place than we were in with the last set up.

Its now time to work down the ladder, CEO,GM of football operations,Coach and support staff and Playing roster. Get the right people in the right jobs and we just might play football once again after the second week in September
