Im going to say this again. I just can not see us getting any compensation from Penrith or Phil Gould.

I can’t myself believe that we will pay part or all of Ivan’s remaining contract whilst he is coach of the panthers for the next 2 years.
The way Pascoe and Marina have handled this you would this it would play out this way.
Penrith buy out Ivan’s contract for next 2 years. Immediate release from tigers.
Seibold resigns with Rabbitohs.
That leaves Maguire (would suit Brisbane’s system and culture) to be appointed Broncos coach.
Brisbane wanting to secure Maguire sooner than later. Pays out remaining year of Wayne’s contract to force him to leave early.
Wayne signs with WestsTigers.
Manly are left with whoever, although there is talk BA may go there.
Parramatta to sign Barrett?
Last two who knows but we’ll see.

Well this is massively disappointing i really enjoyed having Ivan as our coach and everything he has brought to the club. Couldnt give a crap about wanting to coach his son when he has a contract here for 2 more years, he told us all to get on the bus or get off, including james tedesco aaron woods and all of the players we have signed and came here to play for him and said we are all on this journey together and hes driven the bus halfway to who knows where ripped the hand brake and jumped off absolutely dogged it. Bet we don't get anyone of equal or better quality to replace him either. Good times

No. Panthers always wanted Ivan for 2019 and Ivan always wanted to be there. Ciraldo will drop back to assistant. That was always the deal. No chance we pay any of Ivan’s contract for him to coach Penrith.

Well tonight also marks the first time we have agree on something lol. Penrith will simply take over his contract. Thats it nothing more nothing less.

Ivan would have already asked for a release after he spoke with Penrith.
Pascoe knocked it back, hence the preprepared statement, we will just be granting that release now. No money will be needed from us, maybe even a player out way if Wayne doesn’t bring any

I’m hearing Bennett deal was done some time ago with Wayne directly not his manager. Bennett has already been offered a payout of his contract to leave the Broncos.
Paul White wants him out and the board want to reward him for his service.

Tigers are awaiting full payout of Clearys contract from Panthers of 1.2m.

Penrith get Cleary for the next 2 years at 600k p.a. his Tigers value. Panthers are paying 1m a season from 2021\. Panthers saving 400k a year for the first two years or 800k over first two years. Therefore prepared to payout Tigers 1.2m as they are only down 400k.

It makes a lot of sense to me and it looks like we get Wayne’s total contract value subsidised by 1.2m. If it’s 3 years it’s 400k pa which is good business.
