New coach.. Who should we target?

Can someone please explain this to me:

If it’s good enough for Penrith to approach Ivan to leave in the middle of his contract term, then why didn’t we do the exact same thing to Nathan?

If we had thrown the kitchen sink at him then maybe we would be the one’s laughing rather than being laughed at.
Feel sick

1.2m a year for 4 years is a pretty good offer for Nathan Cleary..unofficially of course as no formal offer could be made until November 1..

Okay lads, first and foremost I want Ivan to stay and finish what he has started, not only with the WT but with us the loyal fans, we bought into the process. In saying that lets be realistic,he hasn't said he's staying, so he is gone.
So knowing that, what does everyone think of the Walker Brothers, hell their time in possession and catch and pass is the WT default. No joke I think its a match.

Let's go back to having no defence again - we saw where that got us.

Maguire didn’t get a glowing endorsement when he got moved on by Souths.something to do with over training the players and players had heard the same message time and time again, or something to that effect.

Not much quality out there at the moment.for me it’s got to be either assistant from the Bronco or storm systems.risk would be unproven at NRL level.on the upside might have some quality players that want to be coached by them and are willing to make the move.Barrett and Brennan took players with them.

Bennett wouldn’t be interested in a re build and all other available coaches are available for a reason.

Not under the walker Bros it didn't. Lol

I wonder if we has had any coaches come forward with applications.

Gould said he had multiple applications in one day. A smart coach looking for a leg up would surely be on the phone to Pascoe.

Haslers brand is too tarnished following Bulldogs train wreck. Maguire would be the man for us I reckon.

Sheens only made 3 finals appearances in 10 years, 2 of those years was because of 2 good months in July and August.

He had to go he was stale when he kept thinking Fitzhenry was a 5/8 and a good player and having wingers on the bench

Not to mention his fixation with turning back row forwards into props and lawrence into a 5/8.He was well out of use by date when he was sacked

Jamal Loesli and Matt Utai as well. Lolesi was our best 5/8 option ever for Sheens

exactly that worked in 2005, bu when 2006 came around a guy called Craig Belemy invented the wrestle, so you needed big backs and forwards and wingers that play like props. we were screwed, after that Moltzen at fullback just put players out of position. it worked in the 90s and early 00s but not now
