I think Harvey was being sarcastic. That’s the jist I got from it haha

No, I was actually being serious. It is due to youth, but after a year or 2 in the system you start to see the effect of full time training, diet, weight programs on players shape and muscles.

He looks like what he is, a kid relatively new to full time football. There is a risk in throwing these types of guys in before they are physically ready

The kid's just turned 19. You compare him to Timo, but he's about the turn 21. 2 years older and more developed on and off the field.

Of course he has to fill out into his body more but he's a teenager. 195cm, 110kgs, and still a pup.

Well said .

I think that was the point I was trying to make. Not saying he wont be a very good player for us, but I don't know that he will be ready for much more than cameo appearances this year.

It would be detrimental to play him before he is physically ready.

MADGE will know when he's ready

Great to see the jet in pre season, so much depends on him and Joey this year.

Looks fitter than I expected too. If he stays on the park, I’ll eat my words.

I know he’s not a new face at training, but Mikaele is another guy looking fitter than ever. Looking really trim ![481CAF44-A8C5-4D70-8BB5-0520BF1C7F80.jpeg](/assets/uploads/files/1610017056006-481caf44-a8c5-4d70-8bb5-0520bf1c7f80.jpeg)

He’ll need to be to play first grade this year

Where is tamou

Noticed he’s not there. He started training a little early so he might come back a little late. Won’t be gone too long I’m sure

Not sure what the Cowboys did with him over the last 15 months.....might explain their lack of ticker last season.

I’m happy to see him also & wish him the very best. We should not be relying on 2 unproven players though for the whole season - we’re in trouble if that’s our mindset.

Where are the boys training these days? Cintra Park?

Why did they post 4,000 photos of Tuki Simpkins and one of Roberts, just from behind? Bizarre.

Thats an easy one to answer
See JTJ runs so fast that by the time the photo is taken, he has moved on so far that the camera captures the back of his head
Thats how he got the name Jimmy The Jet
See below Concords Jet Speed

I’m sure Brooks will relish throwing ball to someone with genuine pace

Also how good will it be to see the Jet back up halfbreaks?? Looks super fit!

Just having an option that a defensive line cannot afford to mark up on is something that Brooks hasn't had since Simona stuffed up and the extra space such players provide by keeping a line spread is a big advantage.

The reason he did that was because our centres barely had pace to keep up with Brooks. Like above mentioned he will finally have a target that will make set defensive lines second guess them selves

I thought that was the bloke on the other side of the field, you know, the one that that we let go.

Sorry to quote myself, but I just wanted to make it clear that this comment was very tongue in cheek and really wasn't meant to disrespect Benji, which is possibly the way it would have come across.

Just for the record, I love Benji and love what he has done for this club in the past and the way he changed the game and created a whole new generation of league fans.

I just wish he hadn't had the brain explosions the two times that he has left us and in the end just come to the realization that his time was over.

If only he could have retired to spend time with his family and enjoy what could be a very lucrative career in the media and using that to spread his love of the Wests Tigers.

Yeah, loved him, even through the frustrations of his shoulders and defensive issues on the back of that. Though that was a long time ago and glad that to see new faces at training.

Doesn't say much for the Cowboys then - been in their system for 2 years and on fulltime contract for 15 months. Admittedly no reggies last year would have had an impact on his development.

Wonder what he meant by touch and go
