It works differently in banana land ? the big4 schools here Pats, St Greg’s, Westfields Sports and Holy Cross would make up the majority of NSW schools footy team with the odd few chucked in from other regions..but if you played for any 4 of those schools you’d more than likely have a decent crack at jersey flegg/nrl

I don’t think that Hartigan would not bother reading the forum, he would be too busy scouting talent and working with Madge and the rest of the recruitment team.
The forum is for Nufties like us.

If he doesn’t read it, someone does and writes a report.


Hartigan would have the most up to date database with every stat of every player in the NRL, and every kid with any sort of prospect of making it, from the age of 14 upwards.
Same as McDonald and Scot Woodward.

Maybe....haven’t really been up to date with school footy recently, but over the last 20 years those schools seem to be the dominant ones...Mattraville is one I forgot also.

St Greg's and Holy Cross aren't even in the top 10 these days sadly. Hopefully WT can change this soon though

I vividly remember watching Tedesco score 5 tries or something in an under 20s match on a sunny Sunday afternoon standing on the hill at Leichhardt. It was against Melbourne I think, could tell he was going to be something special just off that vision alone

St Greg’s and Holy Cross both made the quarter finals this year. Admittedly it was only nsw teams due to COVID but not a bad effort considering the sport schools they are competing against. Also, I know St Greg’s are expecting to be much stronger next year as they only had a few year 12s this year in the squad and will be a bigger side next year.
