New jerseys confirmed, Harry is back!

Seeing them on a player has certainly altered my opinion of them:

Home = totally and utterly disgusting. <big>Worst.Jersey.Design.Ever</big>
Away = not THAT bad. It's certainly no where near our best, but not the worst. I can see where they are trying to go with it, especially when you see the socks.

You're right. The away strip, even though it looks like a training jersey, is considerably better than the home.

I don't think the problem with the home jersey is the sharp V though. It's the same from our 10 year jersey and most people liked that. I think it's thats stupid black swirl/dip around the neck of each jersey. That part is so unbelievably ordinary, I can't believe it went past an initial mock-up.

They've also gone back to what looks like the darker orange that was used in 06-07.
More like "blood orange" than gold.
it could just be the poor light though…

I actually like the design… yes the v maybe lets down the home one a bit but on the whole I don't mind them at all. The pic of Heigno and Beau showing the shorts and socks makes them look even better.

Also more importantly brilliant news on the sponsor. Hope Humphries is getting paid well because he's doing a heck of a job at the moment. Some great times ahead I feel.

my man on the inside says they are having some issues.

Jersey was meant to be released 10th dec but due to sponsor issues….no proton, no mkb on jersey this year... jerseys wont come out til march next year. wouldn't tell me sponsor except that they were mid range sponsor before and that they are more well known than proton and mkb, and that mkb was going back to shorts sponsor.

also said jersey's floating around are the jersey's and they look better in real life than they do on screen.

also he is known to be practical joker so take all this with grain of salt :slight_smile:

Looking at the Heighno Pic

I like the fact that the orange and the Black are on the one jersey and the Alt is white.

dare I say that Marketing and the club have made a conscious decision to move a way from the Wests and Balmain versions and centred around a single merged design for a Merged club.

I really like the jerseys…

Finally - Wests and Balmain are dead now in 1st grade as we hit the field for the 12th season...

Hideous, a complete train smash. If the intention of the jersies was to de-emphasise the Balmain and Wests attachments, how do these jersies accomplish that? One supposedly neutral jersey in white and the other predominantly gold? I thought the black strip from the last couple of years was the better of two really simple, intelligent designs. Now we appear to have given a designer his or head to cram as many geometric principles as possible into a small area? The white outfit is just benign, it's a soulless, white socks and pants, 2nd division Super League

I've never been a fan of an all white strip (Jersey, Shorts, Socks) but geez i LOVE this one…

Not 100% sold on the orange strip just yet but like previous seasons i have no doubt they will grow on me..

The main one is awesome IMO but i agree with smeg that white one is a bit too ESL

just finished reading that article in the tele & i have to say Humphreys is a class act.
Everything he is doing is spot on & with him at the helm i can see us being a top 4 team & financially secure for years to come
