The first couple games they got it wrong, but as time went on, they got it right and refined it. easiest way to enforce a rule change quickly is to sit people down for it. players can still get whacked providing the tackler's technique is strong, look at Blore for example, or a Jaydn Su'a (most tackles, I know he was sat down this week).
All the sendoffs were fair in my view. A couple of the binnings were wrong, but they'll sort that out soon enough. it has to come to a stop if we're serious about this game lasting another 100 years.
I have no problems with the rules, as long as they are applied consistently. I am not surprised Robinson is happy. Sitili's was one of the worse tackles of the weekend, but not only was he not sent off, but both him & Crichton avoided suspension.
If you are saying Sitili's tackle was the equivalent of Tedesco falling into Burr's armpit/chest then that is ridiculous. What about Kaufusi or Leota's tackles?
Whatever new rule is introduced, the outcome is the same. The lesser lights get hammered and the high flyers are ignored.
