News Reports about Wests Tigers

In the last few weeks we have had the print and online media writing all sorts of stuff a bout Wests Tigers

Only thing to be reported correctly was beau and Heighno

We had numerous reports that Sheens had been sacked

Then it was that Sheens had quit

There were reports that Matt Parish would be coach next year

Reports that Ayshford was being shopped around

And all turned out to BS , way off the mark no one was even close including our friend georgeb ….

Lesson is its not official until its official

Hunphries was heard on radio telling Wests fans something that Benji said earlier in the year

Unless there is a name of some one from the club in the report , and what they said in quotation marks , don't believe it .

2SM reported this afternoon that Sheens was gone, had taken a payout, wouldn't be around at all next year in any capacity. The media enjoy putting a spin on everything…!
 
Sheens was sacked as head coach.

Whats the point with some people needing to come back after things happen to rub in how others got their rumour/inside info wrong, and its not even wrong its slightly off but essentially still true?

Its this one-upmanship on this forum that drags everyone down….

I wouldn't even believe Humpty at the moment. The longer this circus continues, the worse he is going to look.
 
Regardless of media inaccuracies… Its pretty obvious in this case (sheens and notable players) that where there is smoke there is fire

Mr Wayde isn't a director of Wests Tigers, so I wouldn't be taking his comments about the JV very seriously. On his comments however, I would like a situation where there wouldn't be a 'dominant' partner in the merger, or is the 50/50 claims by the Western Suburbs side just a façade for them wanting to be back in the NRL?
 
How will anything improve , if Sheens decides to hang around in a senior role ? What was achieved by all this if that occurs ? God we would look like fools.
 
Hope something is sorted and sorted soon. We are the jokes of the NRL, No leadership and just a Cronulla talent pool! Damn Tiger Sharks.

Basically, mr wayde is making public the fact that the wests group (ashfield, campbelltown and magpies fc) are united (previously infighting over the years) and want Balmain FC to contribute equally to their share of the JV which is what WT is. Not a merge, not a takeover a 50/50 JV.

Surely Balmain Leagues posting a $6m loss and owing on multi million dollar loans over rozelle is a signifiant issue for all parties involved in the JV.

Dominance would only be financial - not WT branding or naming related.

Mr Wayde is a director of Wests Magpies which is a 50% owner of Wests tigers so his opinion should be given more respect to what you're allowing.You are right in saying there shouldnt be a dominant partner because in reality Balmain and Wests both have given about 50% over the years and I must say in regards to balmains debt wests silence has been deafening as they continue to support their jv partner and its struggle.This in the face of Humphreys saying get stuffed wests im showing more love to Ryde Eastwood that 0% owner of the jv.I think you will find the only "facade" as you put it is by fans such as yourself who feel a little intimidated at what Wests are rightfully claiming is theirs a 50%share in this jv.

I can tell you that the reports and reporting of Beau and particularly Heino have been completely inaccurate.

All the rest is just speculation, the only truth is what the club tells us. It's a sad day when people would rather believe the agenda driven crap the Telegraph spews up each day.

wests can have the joint venture with all their cash , tigers , the real tigers will take the name and the smashing tigers moto , build the new club and take 75 percent of the wests tigers suppor with them , wests will end up right were they were before balmain linked with them , in the sh,,,,,t , tigers is what people want , i would love a show of support for MAGPIES V TIGERS lets settle this once and for all . the bunnys did it so can the real tigers , get with it , if you push hard enough you will get results and with all the turmoil , both wests and balmain have a chance to see who is the stronger , most marketable , most dominate club , good luck to balmain ryde in the grand final , good luck to our current under 20s ,,, all tigerssssss , no bird here
