Next season

The future looks promising.
Whilst we had a dissappointing 2012 in first grade(missing finals,losing beau and Chris,coach likely to get punted)
Next year and the future look promising( u20s and reserve grade make the finals this year- plenty of talent coming through, signed a couple of good players, new coach with fresh ideas and no player attachment-hopefully)
Thoughts?

Seen a comment that some players were questioning signing Anasta at 31 yrs i think he is . R they same players that he outrun 40 metres to score at leichardt and outplayed ?play football guys let recruitment do there job at least anasta is a steady composed halve who will put in every week

Well the players have ousted the coach, why not start making their own recruitment decisions.
I reckon there might be a few cancelled training sessions over the summer as the players decide a beer n barbie in front of the cricket might be good for team morale.

The ankle biters are running the creche!

Well a new coach with no dog in the fight, would ensure that there will be no sack Moltzen threads. Unless you want him sacked from reserve grade.

I don't see how replacing beau with koro and hino with pettybourne is not a positive.
Our 2013 team looks stronger already.
Anasta can train miller, keep Marshall away from him.

Give the guy a chance under a new coach, you have no faith….he may revel under a new leader, find strength and personal characteristics he never knew existed.

If there is no sack sheens thread that means poor Timmy Moltzen will be copping it, I hope not, because I'm sick of defending his honour. I don't think they will put him in the lower grades after signing him for 3 years (will they?). If I was running the show I wouldn't, I'd be getting him out of bed early every morning running/ kicking/ putting him under bombs until he could do it in his sleep. I'd be busting his arse that bad that he'd wished he hadn't signed that damn contract. That's what I reckon Steve Folkes will do if he is appointed coach anyway.
