@Danos said:With so many injuries Sheens will probably recall any player with first grade experience.. that means Halatau, Collis, Laurie, Hanbury, Dwyer etc.
@tomcat said:Need players that want to turn up and give 100% No experience needed…there's guys in the state cup that are up for it,

Gibbs was one of the Tigers best against the Eels. The penalty he gave away on the 4th where he was in the play-the-ball area was milked. Have a look at the dummy half coming from the open side of the field and going to the short side to trip over Bryce. Who's fault? The refs for falling for it.
The other penalty after the Hayne break was a well though out penalty. He gave his team time to get a rest, especially after he feigned injury. If he doesnt do that, the Eels score and game over much earlier.

If you are a 108kg frontrow trying in desperation to make a tackle when the opposition players dives in for a try do you and your 108kg frame, that is on the brink of exhaustion, try and jump over the top of the oposition player or fall in a heap to the ground?
Have a good think about what Gibbs should have done in that situation instead.
Clumsy - yes.
An 8point try - no.
Even Coach Anderson said that the use of knees was not deliberate but reckless.
Gibbs was one of our best on Friday night. The tackle on Haynes was a gem.
