Next weeks team

I have made numerous changes due to injury but I think it looks like a strong team(nott sure about my wingers)

1\. Lawrence (great size, can attack the line and great defender)
2\. Tama Toupu (is he ready yet??)
3\. Ayshford (I rate this dude, will only get better)
4\. Ellis (Has play centres at international level and will stiffen up the defensive line)
5\. Lote Tuqiri (well maybe not)

6\. Marshal
7\. Moltzen

8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Skandalis
11\. Hieno
12.Dene Halatau
13\. Morris (can defend and is fit)

14\. Payten
15\. Robert Lui
16\. Laurie
17.

Hi Roysta59, welcome to the forum.

Sorry…. but can't see what you see in that team.

Assuming KG and Heighno are out, with Gibbs suspended:
Lawrence
Ayshford
Halatau
Collis
Ryan
Marshall
Moltzen
Skando
Farah
Payten
Galea
Ellis
Payne
\
\
Reserves:
Laurie
Morris
Dwyer
Schirnak

Ayshford does not have the pace to play wing.

Neither does Ryan and he's been there all season haha

My side..

1\. Hanbury
2\. Collis
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Pritchard
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Payten
11\. Ellis
12\. Galea
13\. Morris

14\. Skando
15\. Laurie
16\. Shirnack
17\. Akeripa / Halatau

Out: Gibbs (suspended), Heighno (injury), TNT (injury), Ryan (injury), Lui
In: Akeripa / Halatau, Shirnack, Laurie

Nothing against Lui, I thought he played well… but given the injuries and the reshuffle... this would be the side i'd be naming...

Worst case scenario with TNT, Ryan, Moltzen, Gibbs, Heighno, Schirnack out

1\. Hanbury
2\. Collis
3\. Ayshford
4\. Halatau
5\. Lawrence

6\. Benji
7\. Lui

8\. Payten
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway (even if he is fit?)
11\. Ellis
12\. Galea
13\. Payne

14\. Morris
15\. Skando (fit?) Otherwise Gower.
16\. Laurie
17\. Dwyer

I would prefer to use two centres/wings from the lower grades instead of Collis and Halatau but I think Sheens will prefer experience in the team rather than using too many on debut.

My side with Ryan, Heighno, Tui and Gibbs out

1.Moltzen
2.Ayshford
3.Hanbury
4.Lawrence
5.Collis

6.Marshall
7.Lui

8.Payten
9.Farah
10.Galloway
11.Ellis
12.Payne
13.Galea

Reserves
14.Morris
15.Skandallis
16.Dwyer
17.Laurie

If all the following are out, as per the TeleCrap….

Taniela Tuiaki................Broken Leg..........................Season
Beau Ryan.....................Posterior Ligament tear...........4 -6 weeks
Tim Moltzen...................Broken Collarbone..................Unlikely
Chris Heighington............Bumped Knee........................Unlikely
Blake Ayshford................Infected Foot........................In Doubt
Keith Galloway................Swollen Hand........................In Doubt
John Skandalis................Leg Injury...........................In Doubt
Bryce Gibbs...................Suspension.......................... 2 weeks

This is the team I would pick, and hope they all have the best game of their lives....The Wests Tigers Cubs are born as follows
1\. Hanbury
2\. Pritchard
3\. Collis
4\. Halatau
5\. Lawrence

6\. Benji
7\. Lui

8\. Payten
9\. Farah
10\. Betham
11\. Ellis
12\. Galea
13\. Farlow

14\. Morris
15\. Gower
16\. Schirnack
17\. Dwyer

If indeed all of TNT, Ryan, Moltzen, Gibbs, Heighno, Schirnack out…..I'd run with:

1\. Lawrence
2\. Collis
3\. Ayshford
4\. Galea
5\. Pritchard

6\. Benji
7\. Lui

8\. Payten
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway (touch wood!)
11\. Ellis
12\. Payne
13\. Morris

14\. Dwyer
15\. Hanbury
16\. Laurie
17\. Halatau

Following the lead of the NRL front runners and team selection by Saints - I think Dane Laurie would make a great centre. Ok he may need to work on defence. But you gotta admit he would terrorise out wide!

:righton:

LOL..Idris…That my friend I gotta pay! Sounds like AmericanHistoryX you got a sense of hunour. Is there a funny topic you can direct me too on this site? :righton:
