Next Weeks Team

I already posted the position I'd put him in. Just play him on the side of the field Moltzen currently plays on. They don't play traditional roles they play sides anyway. If he fails, well there is still Morris.

Morris who???

1\. Lawrence
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Ayshford
4\. Collis (although I would prefer Davis or Akeripa)
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall

9\. Farah
10\. Payten
11\. Ellis
12\. Galea
13\. Heighington

10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Galea
13\. Heighington

14\. Morris
15\. Skando
16\. Payten
17\. Gower/Schirnack (Has been appearing unwell of late though)

Like that side Gobbs, but going on what Smeg stated, put David Gower in for Schirnack if he isn't looking well. I wasn't impressed with Collis at all yesterday and Payne to be punted for the hard working Gower, just to keep the forwards on their toes, to stop any complacency creeping in, on our way to the finals

1\. Collis
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan (I've finally named him for the first time this year!!! haha)
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Gibbs
11\. Ellis
12\. Galea
13\. Payten

14\. Morris
15\. Payne
16\. Heighno
17\. Skandalis
18\. Laurie

I'd put Hanbury at Fullback. He played well for BRET yesterday scored three tries. But unfortunately that will then weaken the BRET side.

Played centre yesterday and did it very well.

I think he has lost too much experience at the back this year with his constantly being shifted around.

Only good thing is with the split round it is effectivley a bye week for BRET (Pies play this week I think)

moltzen will be fullback with morris in the halves.

"That's sort of the reason I rate him as a player - halfback great, could be even greater at fullback."

quote from sheens after the game re moltzen

Crouching Tiger Im with you.

Ryan was a fullback during his junior days so why not.

Id swap Lawrence with Collis in the wing/centre position as Lawrence's defence has been outstanding of late. Collis is timid in his defencive read and tends to slide rather than up and in. Reason why the Rooters scored twice down the same flank.

I don't know if it is a good idea moving our wingers around for this game. The Sahrks have nothing most weeks but always seem to bring a potent cross-field bomb. Positionally I am not sure if Collis is up to it

Pomery and Ferguson have been the Sharks go to men and can be quite lethal with room to move. Collis' suspect defence and poor defensive reads could be tragic for Wests.

Collis' line speed is basically non existent which does not help the Tigers when shutting down an attacking raid from their opposition. Ayshford has been solid and has handled everything that has been thrown at him since making his debut and playing in the three-quater position. His biggest test came against Manly, and the kid got the job done shutting down Matai and Williams on that right flank.

I'm with Smeg. The structure has been a crucial element of the defensive improvements in the Tigers team. I'm one fan hoping that Ayshford is named back at right Centre with Lawrence returning to the fold for Wests, back in his left centre position.

Sheens is a big Collis fan and will almost certainly include him in our starting side, but I have no idea why, he hasn`t improved as a player in 3 seasons and at the end of the day, we are getting rid of him for a reason.

1.Tim Moltzen

18.Corey Payne (would be hard done by to be left out, but David Gower is a much stronger and more dangerous ball runner)
