I'd put Cotric on the wing and shop Nofoaluma.

Should happen but won’t, Lee loves him too much. Probably wants him to marry his daughter

Western Suburbs Magpies called Nofo a journeyman on his birthday.

They might have to get to know each other better in 2022.

Nofo can learn some basics.

I just had a glance At the Kennell. Seriously the way they are carrying on you’d think they’re the Dragons side of the 50s/60s and we’re the Knights of 5 years ago.

I don’t think a clubs supported base that’s just won a wooden spoon and been bottom 4 the last 5 years should be throwing stones at anyone

Good recruitment will make you feel 10ft tall. They’re gonna leave us for dead next year.

They must have recruited a fullback, half and hooker that I hadn’t heard about. They’ll be 4 spots higher at best

And they’ll still finish above us.

Maybe but that's not being left for dead. They've got a long way to go to simply climb off the bottom of the ladder, where they have been squandering for several years.

Let’s see how good burton is without Ivan Cleary and one of the best forward packs in the game. Still think he’s a gun but wonder if he will shine or be pulled down by the players around him .

I think Burton will come down a peg or two, Nathan Cleary does plenty in that side so does Jerome Luia they make Burton look like a superstar.
Burton will be the best player at the dogs but he can't carry a bad spine with him
No 7 or 1 or 9

Burton did a good job when Penrith were depleted due to Origin

We beat them fairly comfortably?

And the Bulldogs side he’s in in 2022 would beat the depleted Penrith side comfortably.

Speculative.

The majority of this thread is speculative.

Objection overruled,

You may all continue....

At $600k a season for any potential year as part of a longer contract, Cotric is a big no for me. Paying 180% of an average top 30 squad member money may be a reasonable deal for an average spine player, but is far too much for an outside back that is not elite.

Especially so when comparing Nick to the player reportedly signed on similar dollars in Papali'i.

I like it .. hopefully puts abit of pressure on Nofa to perform, he was pretty average at best this year. Cotric preferred in the centres. That's the whole point of leaving dogs.

I get Jesse Ramien vibes with Cotric. Played well with the team he came through with, but fell away once he left. Ramien hasn't been able to recapture his early career form and I fear Cotric will be the same. Probably have to take the risk though.m with him being just 23.

Unless we get Cotric at a bargain price it's a big no from me, keep developing a formidable pack should be our priority I reckon.

Exactly, imo. Elites aren’t knocking on our door atm?

Formally tigersteve - I had to change, too many tigersteves 🙂
Am I the only one who hasn't given up on JTJ?
