Noddy

If he had to use the " Penrith are disrespecting us line " to get the team motivated .Wow not sure what that says about the team or coach but I certainly wouldn't go on TV and admit I used that line
I probably would have lent on that line to get some anger into the team.
None of them gave a shit obviously.
That was a bad loss yesterday

I feel it's a few things really, as to why the losses are building up.
Sure, the poor roster is obvious, the lack of pace and a million other things that make the better teams just be better.
But more than that, even as they try their best - they lack confidence to keep in the game and maybe even putting it away.
This has built up over years.
Thank goodness, via Sheens and Co., there is an acknowledgement of the problems and willingness to find solutions.

Noddy should be thanking Penrith for resting players. We dont deserve to be shown any respect. Honestly what was that about - embarrassing.
His presser and the article that followed in the Telegraph was horrendous. Really embarrassing stuff.

If you want to get the lads fired up you'd go into the sheds and say these blokes think they're going to walk all over you with 7 out. And to be fair that's exactly what they did.

Feel bad for him, I can’t imagine many others would be keen to do his job for the rest of the season. Someone should probably give him the tip to be boring and not say so much. The comments he made yesterday were silly and no surprises there were several stories today about them.

Unfortunately Noddy is representative of the off field indecision and lack of leadership. When asked if he would be at Tigers next year, he replied “I don’t know.”
Coaches get sacked because they don’t comb their hair like the ceo.
When you’re looking for the extra 5% of effort that wins games, you can’t get it while the only consistent is the shaking of the foundations.
Do any of the players think they will be in the team next season? Do they know Sheens will be coach? If so for how long? Does anyone believe Benji will be coach in 2 years?

I said it at the time, Gardiner should be interim coach and not Noddy. The bloke knows what he's doing.

I hope Sheens keeps him around instead of pulling Furner out of the recycling bin.

Congrats Noddy on the 1st win.

Since we moved in a different direction Noddy has copped it & yes some deserved however we are seeing more instinctively play starting to unfold and some players are beginning to thrive off the back of it. Very Sheens like coaching coming through.

It takes time to change approaches during a season but geez we are looking good now.

Last 2 weeks have been the best footy we have played all year. Let’s hope we finish the season strong to build off for next season.

The players seem to be enjoying their footy now, particularly the last 2 games? So what’s changed? Under Gardiner and Noddy the game appears to be more instinctive, heads up type of play? Players seem to be trusting themselves and each other more? There are a couple of players missing from the squad? Noddy did say we were going to have more fun. Bring it on!

I guess it’s easy to be upbeat and passionate after a win but Noddy seems to have a real genuine connect with the players. Madge seemed a pretty tense sort of person where Noddy seems a lot easier going. Although Noddy has zero pressure and Madge was under the pump from round one

Did you wee him go hug Jacko when Jacko was injured sitting on the bench ?

A true embrace of respect.

Unfortunately I think politics are at play.

I think he is considered to be too close to Madge and for that reason he is being shown the door.

Really like the guy, seems to be well like by the players and did a great job in the past with the KOE side.

Seems there are not enough seats to go around in 23 at the top level, so Noddy either back down the line or elsewhere as an assistant
Would say that Farah has taken the role that Noddy should have got.
Very worried about Farahs ego v Benji, getting in the way of development.
I hope Sheensy can manage that !
