Back on the training field for the start of pre-season, Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma says he's happy to be injury-free as he prepares for season 2016.

Nofoaluma, who started the 2015 pre-season in the rehab group following extensive knee surgery, says being back in the team will give him a huge boost in 2016 as he looks to build on the strong end-of-season performances he delivered alongside Kevin Naiqama.

See what David had to say about being back at training and his goals for 2016 above.

Yep, we have some awesome attacking players….defensively out wide has been our problem. Hope we can get some real communication and everyone on the same wavelength in our 3/4s in defense....it was like everyone running their own race at times. We need them all working together

without patty im reallllly liking our edges. noffa, simona, naiqama and maybe hoeter/chee kam.

add in some experience for brooks and moses, i think in their 2nd/3rd years theyll really start to kick on now. i cant name a half in the past 20 years thats dominated at 19 or 20 years old. maybe joey, but he didnt have another rookie alongside him, he had his brother matty.

rip in noffa, tear it up without any injuries in 2016!!

I hope he is our left winger for 2016\. Will be nice to have a guy who can actually finish the chances that Simona and Teddy create.

Yeah, a lot better than say having Koro there, but our right edge in particular was not up to scratch at times. I did though enjoy Kevvy making decisions at centre late in the year, as at least he was having a good old go.

Great he is injury free and will enjoy a full pre season. Hopefully injury free for 2016 and forms a great combination with his centre whoever that might be.

Love how he keeps his legs pumping when he hits the line. Defence needs so work.

Kev was great for us last season.

Saw him at Top Ryde Shopping centre.

Asked him for a photo and he gladly obliged but I was referring to a photo with his missus.

He thanked me for my support to the club- Nice guy.

love this kid. Everything you want in a winger:
- Amazing finisher (will never forget the 2013 Try of the Year)
- Solid under the high ball
- Strong runs to take ball out of our 20

Defence and Speed are above average but defence will improve with experience. He is no Koro when it comes to speed but he is quick off the mark which is good enough
