Nofoaluma's vile taunts from Roosters fans

They guy probably had him in his SC team. Only 4 games this round, so every player you had was gold.

Bad form responding to the imbecile. Sadly it makes you more of a target. The bloke deserves a hiding tbh but believe if I’m Karma he will probably get one.

Perhaps my favourite sledge was the Family Man Chant every time Scott Bolton got the ball.

Every weekend at junior football it is shocking , and that's just from some of the kids younger than their older brothers and sisters , parents at the same games are just as bad

I think easier way of putting it , if I was to get up and tell the parents to watch their language around my 11 year old daughter at junior games I could probably guarantee I'd end up having to look after myself if that makes sense

I coached my young blokes team and on more than one occasion had to sort out a few spectators. It's amazing how quickly they quieten down when publicly shamed.

I'm an old bloke now but it saddens me the way some people carry on. Looking at the bigger picture, the 'game' is trying to clean itself up and promote itself as family friendly - to the extent of having 'women's rounds' and actively promoting the game to the ladies. I'm sure the club, particularly with the new leadership, would be of the same mind. This sort of behaviour undoes all that in an instant.

Imagine the reaction from a first time female spectator if some moron starts dropping the 'c bomb' right next to her.

Don't get me wrong, I swear like a trooper, but I'm very careful of the time and place and never in front of women and kids, and definitely not in front my wife or kids.

I'm glad he can't view the legends club and see what was said about his wife…

RCG said in origin, he wants to kill people….
How's that for cleaning the game up?

Good story. Unidentified person does not use racist language, Chairman retorts against racism.

No offence Nofo but just pretend you can't hear idiots like that. They are trolling you for a reaction, and bingo you've given what they want.

Yep, I agree.
You'd think being an adult he would have a thicker skin than that.

Having a whinge about it on social media isn't going tog et you much sympathy.

I've always thought - complaining about something on social media is like shouting into a valley. Maybe some folks will hear you, but likely nobody gives a toss.

Unless I missed something and Nofo has more followers than Elon Musk or LeBron James.

I'm not questioning Nofoaluma on this , but I'm wondering why a Roosters supporter would say that …...

It just sounds like something a WT's supporter would say , if that makes sense , not in the sense that we are like that , but a Tigers fan is more likely to be frustrated with Nofoaluma ....

If a rooster supporter thinks he is that bad , why would they care , if he is that bad wouldn't it only help his team win ........

Yep thats what I was thinking, more likely one of ours. Pretty poor form regardless

Well I suppose there is a chance it could have been a Tigers supporter who had a big TAB payout riding on a Tigers win the last time they played Newcastle.

And online bullying…..
Just turn the computer off and go outside, lol. Game over.

Don't blame the players , blame the idiot who placed the bet on the loser in a two horse race :astonished:

Wow, the Roosters had fans at one of their games?

Look Nofo shouldn't have to cop it. It's bad form on their fans to just berate an injured player. If I was there, I would have given it straight back to them with language not allowed on this forum.

Soccer has this thick skinned approach. We don't and I don't think we want too much sledging.

Probably not racism, but not cool that a non white player just seems to be targeted.

I was at Newcastle game back in the day just after Joey got busted with drugs, And his own fans had banners with a macca's cup on it saying "he loves his coke and ice", HIs own fans.
Its football….....weve already lost too many traditional aspects of the game to over sensitive members of our sporting community.

Lets not loose the sledge.....Please.

Because true "sledging" was fun .. what happened to Nofoaluma wasn't sledging

Like banter it could be aimed at the opposition , could be aimed at your own players ….

I have read the some of the sledging made by West Indian cricket supporters , they got it .

In my opinion that"s exactly what it was….....A good old fashioned sledge.
Imagine what they would have been yelling out to Raudonikis when he left the field.
Its only because we have a young man with a twitter account that were even talking about this.

If they had said that to Raudonikis and been to close - I know what would have happened.

I would have bet they would not have said it again for a long time.

I know as a young lad I only booed the opposition once

My ears became detached from my head , from almighty clip behind the ear from my old man gave me

A good smart quip is acceptable , swearing is below the belt and proves you don't have the mind to settle an issue

I can remember a particular trip on a train in 2004 full of Broncos supporters back to Ipswich (the game we had a try disallowed to Pattycakes that cost us top 8)

This particular drunken clown kept singing in front of his very young kids "Tigers take it up the clacker " do da do da

Anyway wasn't in the best mood cause we lost , and he kept making eye contact with me when he sang it

Anyway about 3/4 of trip , I have enough , get up with my Mrs ,Dad and Step Mum trying to stop me getting up and said "watch this I'm cool"

He saw me get up , went pale , started cowering behind his daughter

Got to about 3 metres away and told him "its clowns like you why people are leaving Ipswich in droves "

Went back to my seat to standing applause from about 30 Broncos supporters

If you say the right thing and say it without venom and a glint in your eye

Same as the Carl Webb situation many years ago , you can get your point across without being a tosser and swearing your head off

Saying something along the lines to Nofoaluma " Don't worry Nofoa , its not your fault ….................. it's those bloody idiots selectors that keep picking you every week's fault " gets the point across far better and everyone gets a laugh out of it
