My uncle passed this week at 104. He was still happy until the end. He didn't do any physical exercise except walking to the shops. He had the typical old Malteser body his whole life and had a diet of pastizzi, pasta and bread, none of the new age friggin "superfoods".Wow, still looks like he's up for a good laugh.
I always wondered, who the hell would want to be 97 years old?
Then It dawned on me that if you were 96 and were enjoying life, then why not.
The big thing was that like most of the older generation of us wogs he didn't worry about anything and always had a smile on his face. I think that's the secret. (and good genes)
