This game Micheal Bevan turned my Nan into a cricket fan. We watched cricket together until she passed.
As the ditty used to go,
Jocks were hungrier in those days !Ray Selkrig and Hot Chestnut at Kembla in 1973- dragged 20 metres but retained the race.
Sometimes you get lucky!

He was a genius organiser during a run chase.
Got to be in the top5 scams of modern history
As the transfer from B & W was rolled out, test patterns in colour were broadcast for about 5 or 6 months prior to the big Day in March 1975 and we had neighbours join us to watch them. Just sat there watching them for about an hour at a time. I think my Dad sold them homebrew as well. 📺📺📺🍻🍷🍾
Back in the day, I worked at The Courthouse Hotel in Australia St. Newtown. I'd often be on deck to receive Keg Deliveries. One day the Brewery Truck arrived and the Driver was Rocket Reddy! He was getting set up to roll the Kegs down the cellar ramp when he apologised, saying, "Sorry mate, I forgot to pack the ropes. I'll have to free fall them!" So we set up a barricade of empty kegs covered in hessian bags and hope, cos I was to stay in the cellar in order to move the keg into it's new spot after each roll. I cowered down whilst the Rocket lifted each Keg off the truck and rolled them down the ramp. After we finished, we went to the bar, and I offered him a Schooner, as you do. "Nah, mate, just a Lemon Squash, I'm in training for the Test team"
