Happy “Burns Night” to all those celebrating poet Robert Burns tonight.
Forever loved for his lyrics of “Auld Lang Syne”
Have a wonderful time, enjoy the haggis and/or a wee gram .....
Plus - a great memory promoting Allo Allo

In 1993, Rolling Sone Bill Wyman's son Stephen Wyman married Patsy Smith, the 46-year-old mother of Bill Wyman's ex-wife Mandy Smith (pictured below).
Stephen was 30 years old at the time.

Consequently, the ex-Rolling Stone became his own son's ex-son-in-law, the father-in-law of his ex-mother-in-law, as well as the step-grandfather of his ex-wife.

In 1957, Barbara Feldon walked onto the set of a national television game show and did something quietly revolutionary: she was brilliant, and she refused to apologize for it.

Week after week, she answered increasingly difficult questions about Shakespeare with perfect composure. Not just the famous plays—the obscure references, the historical context, the nuanced interpretations that scholars debated. She made it to the final round and won $64,000, a fortune in 1957.
Backstage, a producer offered her some advice: "You should tone it down. Men don't like women who seem too smart. It's intimidating."
Barbara smiled politely and kept being exactly as smart as she was.

Later, in 1965, she walked into an audition for a new spy comedy called Get Smart. The role was Agent 99, the competent partner to bumbling spy Maxwell Smart and the part was hers.
