Parra are just seriously a bad match up for us, same with the roosters

Their packs intimidate ours, they get a roll on, and we have no answer. Add to that I bet Mitch Moses & Gutho mark down the round they play against us as they always save their best for us

I think Parra and Raiders always Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon us.
Roosters too yeah...

But yeah we need a few upgrades.
Hopefully 2022 we have some better cattle.

Yeah we don't do well with big forwards who run hard.

I agree, but you have to ask why? Look at the size of the forwards we had today. I haven't seen the game yet as I was away, but I am keen to look at the game to see how good our line speed was. Last week it was very good.

We always look easily rattled playing the Eels and continually losing to them always makes everything (about the WT squad) much more questionable - than usual.
I don't think they exactly play out of their skin either but they just make it seem so effortless.

is he related to the quadruple try debutant Jordan Atkins?

Nope. His father is a life member and former nrl player Graeme, his uncle was a junior pathways coach and still involved I think and and I believe his grandfather was also senior there awaits back.

P.S. Adam Doueihi, find your shoulders son.

How so?

This team scraped a win against the Panthers reserves side, and then they got showed up by a an actual NRL side.

It really is quite simple, we don't run or hit hard enough to win the collision so we are playing from the backfoot. If you win the collision atm that determines the play the ball speed and 6 agains, we can't win the collision against teams like Parramatta.

They didn't scrape a win against Penrith. We dominated that game.

You and I have different memories of the first 70 minutes of that game.

Yeah we do, Tigers were the better team all game.

Eels we’re far superior to us being honest the scoreline was more a result of one sided officiating against a team that would have beaten us anyway. I’m not upset by the effort they were gassed against a strong team and we had a few injuries.

I thought the scoreline flattered Penrith last week if anything.

Our ill discipline kept them in the game, should have won by even more IMO.

Yeah we do, Tigers were the better team all game.

With 15 minutes to go the score was 12-6

Against a panthers team that was missing their entire spine.

I didn't say they weren't missing players, the Tigers were on top all of that game and it can't really be argued.

Really loomed forward to that game yesterday but the game was spoilt from the beginning by a referee hell bent on officiating the game out of control, this game was all about the referee and his continual six agains. Close to 70 % possession rate to a good nrl team will eventually deflate any team and then to make sure he ruined the game straight after half time he further sin bins what should have been a penalty. Finally when the game is over for all intention purposes he by todays standards sin bins what should have been send offs. I believe the side really put in this game BUT finally failed under fatigue. Didnt think I would ever say it but for the first time in my life iam starting to turn off league .

It's not who we are huh?

Most of us predicted this... So.maybe it is a true reflection... Yeh we can be better but the truth is we can't show that week to week

I have a weird feeling we will be a lot more competitive in the next 2 games

even though both storm and bunnies are better than the side we faced today

Well we need to improve and improve fast. I felt we were starting to turn a corner and still think we are but need to see a bounce back quickly. Not necessarily in terms of wins just consistent effort and better attention to detail in the small things such as not dropping the ball for one.

I think credit where's it due, the Eels gave it to us, they just seemed too big, too powerful and too quick for us.

I watched the Storm game, I'm not hopeful (though Munster may get outed?).

We need 55% of possession to beat the better sides, when the scales are turned the other way we are in for a long afternoon. With the six again lottery heavily against and the 50 50 calls all going one direction we had zero chance.

Giving the refs the six again rule is probably the biggest backward step in the game in years. Most refs can hardly keep pace with the speed of the game now, yet are asked to adjudicate on more rules.

Once again, Iam sure Parra would have won the game if the calls were fairly distributed but it would have been a contest. At present I can hardly watch our team and very seldom watch other games due this new game Peter V has cooked up……..sorry for the rant
