On Bj... if you can’t make it WT you can’t make it anyway

Before James and benji go on . Ikin says we ask what benji feels how WT going after they sacked him. He was not sacked , just wasn’t re-signed

Anything we are copping at the moment is welled earned .....we are an abortion based on the 1st 2 games

Well considering it was Brooks 150th game as fans of the WT we have been waiting for him to step up, his kicking game was not great, we were playing at home should know the ground and conditions.

Think the fans have lost patience with him, he will remain this season but don't be surprised that he is shopped around in 2022, know there keen on Hastings.

WT need to bite the bullet and go and get someone who can bring a cultural shift, whatever the cost. Not Hastings.

Who then ?

Not many of them really is there, throw the house at Bellamy in a GM type role. Look at the Titans model with Meninga. It’s gotta be a game changer.

Pay Cammy 2 million to come out of retirement ?

Nah, couldn’t see that attracting the players we need. And as good as he is, he’s on very old pins.

Edit: Maybe someone like Brad Fittler who is well respected and connected in the sport. I think a kid sitting down with Freddy is more likely to sign with us than the current conglomerate. He would have links to origin and does lots in the community, he’s a pillar. That’s the kind of change we need. How much does he want?

Definitely not

Pretty sure Terry Lamb was a pillar as well . How well did that go .

I'd prefer not to have a confirmed cheat as our coach who has been suspended twice when caught.

We're ok with a confirmed cheat as a CEO. ?

I am made my opinion known on that many many times.

Nope.

He could've possibly worded it better but my take from what others have said (about his 360 appearance) is that there were some things said as well.

I think he didn't need to add the 'Madge tried going hard and that didn't work' comment. (I didn't see it, just read it second hand so apologies if I got it wrong).

I am personally sick of the 'Madge is too tough' narrative. I think it's exaggerated in any case. But does anyone think, for instance, Madge should be cuddly and gentle with BJ after last week?

Which is why I pointed out possibly rewording it.
I understand there's a clear agenda with the media on this but everyone's keeps saying the only way to get rid of it, is to win games so the narrative changes.
My question is why even focus on this when there's bigger problems?
None of that influences how we perform.

I think it comforts fans that actually don't think we have a problem.

It’s clear we have a problem . We have had 1 winning season in 10 years , and no finals . But what are you going to do ? Get the pitch forks out , which hasn’t worked either for 10 years , or concentrate on the positives , and the growth that we have made . And IMO winning the games we did win the last few years , was the real masking going on . I’m glad we suck, in some ways , as , it will expose truths in the playing squad and hopefully regenerate . I’m just wary of it being too soon . I think the right playing decisions have been made , and I don’t see how the CEO who you hate has to do with on field performance ? It’s completely irrelevant.

I don't see how a CEO cannot be responsible for results right across the organisation after 6 years. But anyway we've been through it before.... we disagree.

Yep . I agree with what your saying , in principal , in a holistic view , just not in the day to day . Because at the end of the day he’s not the one formulating game plans , executing training regimes , or executing the game plan on game day .
I don’t know , the NRL sux , it’s the only sporting conpetition in the world outside of the Scottish premier league , where there’s really no change to who the final 4 teams are . If ever a comp is dying for a draft it’s ours .

Problem was Flanno was cheating while being suspended for lack of governance surrounding drug use at his club. I have said many times that I believed Pascoe should have been sacked for his role in the Farah episode. That doesn't mean that I am not allowed to see the difference between a suspension for salary cap issue compared to involvement in systematic drug use at a club. One puts the players welfare and health at risk and the other doesn't.

I will say that I have met and worked on some initiatives with Justin over the past couple of months and say he has impressed me with his dedication and passion for the club. That doesn't change my opinion on his past mistakes but I do believe he is capable of steering our club out of its current position.

NRL360 is garbage television. Basically 'The View' for rugby league. It's barely a rugby league show. They reference and quote articles written by THEMSELVES! E.g. "Phil Rothfield in the Daily Telegraph writes..." and then the drama unfolds from there. Do not watch this show. Do not give them ratings. They are a leech on the NRL.

So basically just stick to the clubs media releases. How exciting.

There's more rugby league media than NRL 360. Watch "The Fan" - it is pretty good. Listen to podcasts; I recommend "Rugby League Digest" for a dose of League history. Read opinion pieces like "Making The Nut". Come on the forum!

I have Kayo I literally never watch NRL 360, I could never stand those shows. I sometimes watch a bit of Matty Johns after matches, but only when they review the matches that have played. When they start doing the comedy / variety show stuff I turn if off. Don't think I've ever gotten through a segment of Fletch or Hindy being morons, or that Emma lady talking about whatever it is she talks about. I skip over Professor and his mate, and not interested in Laurie Daley lurking in the shadows to eventually talk about punting.

But any show/article/podcast will be labeled as crap if there's a poor segment about us. They'll all have AGENDAS!!!!!!

AGENDAS!!!

I'm not worried about agendas, no issue there whatsoever. I just don't like trash TV.

Wow , I know they not fans or WT , but not oh boy they are really hammering the club

On Bj... if you can’t make it WT you can’t make it anyway

I know. I just find it interesting that some blokes are good to go after they serve their sentence but others have a line drawn through their name.

Might need a wheel alignment?

I think we need more than a wheel alignment at the moment. lol. I am trying to be a lot more positive today, is it working? lol.

Benjis comments were bittter, we’re still better off without him you can’t tell me he’d be happy here to sit on the bench or worse still play reggies. He won’t mutter a word about it if it happens at south’s. He thinks he is bigger than the club and has a god given right to be chosen because of what he’s done in the past. That’s why he was let go because if that were to happen here he’d constantly be mouthing off in the media, he’s doing it now but apparently hasn’t thought of us since October.

And yes our efforts and performance have gone up accordingly

Absolutely would've been trounced by 60 if he was still here.

So I assume you are happy with the effort last 2 games stop making excuses after excuses for their inept performance. And trying to justify their performance by saying it would have been 60 if Marshall was still there is lame very lame move on from Benji and look at the person at the helm

Try this out for size.....if Brooks two kicks dont go dead and if our left centre could defend, its a different game.

Well we have replaced our left centre. Hopefully Mr leading forced drop outs 2018 is banging them through continually at training.

I stoped watching it.
In fact that was even before I canceled our FOXTEL couple of weeks back. Too many Murdoch journos that I detest like Crowley and Rothfield.
Anyway off the subject .... but some may be interested to know what’s available ..... Was paying $79 per month for everything but still recon overpriced.
Anyway now we get 1/2 price FOXTEL NOW for 3 months (@half price $39) deal which includes most things including sport on streaming and still enough change from my $79 for my Netflix and if I added things like Disney+, Stan and Prime Video.

If it's not too much to ask, but would you be able to explain how you've managed to do it?
I'm just a little uncertain of the last couple of sentences and wondered if you could elaborate, as I'm extremely interested.
Thanks

I used to think that Paul Kent on NRL 360 but after a comment he made last night in regard
to Joey Leilua I would like to nominated Kent as the WT'S FORUMN number one enemy even in front of Rothfield.
A comment was made in regard to JL being off contract this year a few on the panel said someone will pick him up but KENT the rear end said no one would touch him reason being that if you can't make it at WT'S we're would he make it totally uncalled for and a huge slap/slur to our club.

Paul Kent the clown that played one game of first grade with Parramatta. Actually, I think it was more like about 5 minutes of a first grade game.

Normally I would have a lot of respect for anyone that has ever been able to play even one game of first grade, but I think he has overstepped the mark with the way he criticized Joey and made a slur on Wests Tigers.

I know that we have been very critical of Joey on here and that Joey may very well be at the end of career but for "5 minute Kent" to show such disrespect to this club and a player that has been a Samoan International, twice centre of the year and has had a first grade career with 4 clubs is a just a little bit rich.

I would think that there would be more subtle ways for a so called professional journalist to make a point on national television.
