NRL 360

Still don't know why anyone cares. Fox pundits are going to go after Tigers, why not, it's an easy target. It's easy to criticise a team that doesn't make the finals; there's no obvious come-back.

It's easy to point fingers at individual players too. Then eventually the talk comes around to "how do they fix it?" and 100% of the pundits either say "I don't know" or "buy better players" or some nothing suggestion.

I'm not saying it's the job of the Fox pundits to find fixes for the Tigers, but after you flog losing sides for a while, after you pick them bare and write a list of all the issues, then come to the conclusion that you have no idea of how to fix it... well you are kind of done, it just becomes repeat. I don't really think anyone needs an opinion piece about how non-competitive the Tigers have been so far.

They might as well focus on the good / middle sides and talk about what they are doing right, rather than just getting annoyed about how bad some teams are. Because I've seen Dragons play; they've been horrendous - and the only reason they got a leave pass this week is because they played a team that's more horrendous. Ben Hunt might have played a good controlling match for once, but it would be like praising Billy Walters after Tigers mauled Broncos in 2020. Manly have offered nothing, Broncos are abysmal, Bulldogs haven't changed one bit.

The comments from Marshall were worse and more damaging than anything Kent and Ikin said, IMO.

I understand he's at Souths... but "I don't care" ?? When Woods came out this week saying he still loves the Tigers and has mates there and wishes them well. Sure he's looking for a contract, but Benji could have also shown some sympathy to the club that made him and the club he 'loves'.

Just look at how Cronk handles his comments when it comes to Roosters/Storm - class.

Kents comments were putrid and the club should go after him I don’t know if there is grounds for defamation because his words are definitely damaging and untrue.

How’s a anyone Or more concerning your kid at school going to enjoy backing their club with comments like that.

The embarrassment of following the club is on the club. We're the joke.

If this does not get them fired up then nothing will.

Not so much the comments from Ikin and Kent, rather the justified comments on the fact they are playing like garbage.

I will always support them but it becomes demoralising when after two weeks you feel like giving up for the season. Appreciate we have played two well drilled sides and for at least half of the game looked in the contest. The second halves have been a disaster and I would not put it down to fitness rather effort and mental strength.

If we beat Newcastle some of this will go away but only consistent results on the back of strong defence will get us out of this and shut up the two clowns mentioned earlier.

It will fire them up for a few weeks but then back to the normal garbage

Not so sure. Didn’t change the broncos at all last year

The comment on Madge was very uncalled for..
could've easily said I have faith in Madge or that I know he is trying hard etc.. but the last litte part there can divide people.

Benji loves attention and wants to make a statement- he can still be classy and I know he is a good human being.

Benjis comments were bittter, we’re still better off without him you can’t tell me he’d be happy here to sit on the bench or worse still play reggies. He won’t mutter a word about it if it happens at south’s. He thinks he is bigger than the club and has a god given right to be chosen because of what he’s done in the past. That’s why he was let go because if that were to happen here he’d constantly be mouthing off in the media, he’s doing it now but apparently hasn’t thought of us since October.

So this season is on him as well. A lot of people are moaning that we are an easy target well people we are, we make our self’s an easy target by serving up rubbish for ten years . And until we start performing on a regular basis the criticism will continue

And yes our efforts and performance have gone up accordingly

Look I agree Coastietiger, but looking back the only time this club has looked like being contenders is when we've unearthed a once-in-a-generation talent like Marshall, and an almost as good player in Farah. We could not have attracted them on the open market - they were developed. So I reckon he is probably has some justification to think he is a big shot at the club. I only wish he carried himself better, and didn't let his negative emotions get to the surface so clearly. But that's about a boy who became a superstar very early in life, and always acts better when he has a strong 'father-figure' coach like Sheens or Bennett around him.

NRL360 is garbage television. Basically 'The View' for rugby league. It's barely a rugby league show. They reference and quote articles written by THEMSELVES! E.g. "Phil Rothfield in the Daily Telegraph writes..." and then the drama unfolds from there. Do not watch this show. Do not give them ratings. They are a leech on the NRL.

Exactly

Why can't people start directing their anger at the right place .....the WT's ...if we are winning football games ...this goes away

It's everything with many on here ....they get angry when we are picked as wooden spoon favourites ...they get angry when the club gets bagged in the media ...they get angry when people talk about moving the WT's to Perth / CQ ....they get angry when Benji doesn't back the club .....

And then the old ..well at least we aren't as bad as ....Manly ...Cows ...Dogs.......Saints

Well we should aim for a premiership ...not aim at not being the worst club

A wooden spoon might be the best thing actually for the WT's maybe a few of them ......nothing to hide from then ...is their ???

A lot of our fans are like parents who never blame their kid for anything. It's the teacher or other kids that are wrong. They mirror our club.

Wow , I know they not fans or WT , but not oh boy they are really hammering the club

On Bj... if you can’t make it WT you can’t make it anyway

Before James and benji go on . Ikin says we ask what benji feels how WT going after they sacked him. He was not sacked , just wasn’t re-signed

Anything we are copping at the moment is welled earned .....we are an abortion based on the 1st 2 games

Well considering it was Brooks 150th game as fans of the WT we have been waiting for him to step up, his kicking game was not great, we were playing at home should know the ground and conditions.

Think the fans have lost patience with him, he will remain this season but don't be surprised that he is shopped around in 2022, know there keen on Hastings.

WT need to bite the bullet and go and get someone who can bring a cultural shift, whatever the cost. Not Hastings.

Who then ?

Not many of them really is there, throw the house at Bellamy in a GM type role. Look at the Titans model with Meninga. It’s gotta be a game changer.

Pay Cammy 2 million to come out of retirement ?

Nah, couldn’t see that attracting the players we need. And as good as he is, he’s on very old pins.

Edit: Maybe someone like Brad Fittler who is well respected and connected in the sport. I think a kid sitting down with Freddy is more likely to sign with us than the current conglomerate. He would have links to origin and does lots in the community, he’s a pillar. That’s the kind of change we need. How much does he want?

Definitely not

Pretty sure Terry Lamb was a pillar as well . How well did that go .

I'd prefer not to have a confirmed cheat as our coach who has been suspended twice when caught.

Excuse me for asking but how exactly were his comments damaging?
He could've possibly worded it better but my take from what others have said (about his 360 appearance) is that there were some things said as well.

Stop him from coming to any 2005 GF parties .....that'll learn him

He's not a representative of the Tigers though and unfortunately those questions come with the territory, so his interaction can't be helped.
They're always going to be loaded questions (WT related) so why show aggravation at Benji and not the persons posing the questions to try and stir up trouble.
