Still don't know why anyone cares. Fox pundits are going to go after Tigers, why not, it's an easy target. It's easy to criticise a team that doesn't make the finals; there's no obvious come-back.
It's easy to point fingers at individual players too. Then eventually the talk comes around to "how do they fix it?" and 100% of the pundits either say "I don't know" or "buy better players" or some nothing suggestion.
I'm not saying it's the job of the Fox pundits to find fixes for the Tigers, but after you flog losing sides for a while, after you pick them bare and write a list of all the issues, then come to the conclusion that you have no idea of how to fix it... well you are kind of done, it just becomes repeat. I don't really think anyone needs an opinion piece about how non-competitive the Tigers have been so far.
They might as well focus on the good / middle sides and talk about what they are doing right, rather than just getting annoyed about how bad some teams are. Because I've seen Dragons play; they've been horrendous - and the only reason they got a leave pass this week is because they played a team that's more horrendous. Ben Hunt might have played a good controlling match for once, but it would be like praising Billy Walters after Tigers mauled Broncos in 2020. Manly have offered nothing, Broncos are abysmal, Bulldogs haven't changed one bit.
