Listening to the Matty Johns podcast show on in the background - I could not believe that as a supposed student of the game that Cooper Cronk had never seen this Matt Seers try-saver on Brett Mullins from 1994!

One of the best ever effort plays and chase-down cover tackles between two of the fastest players in the comp at the time that you will ever see:

Shame about the shit quality of the video - but Channel Nine is a disgrace for disposing of years of their archival game footage from the few games per week that they broadcast in the 90s!

Should have all been bequeathed to the Australian Film Archive or NRL at the time!

Great tackle from Seers. I always enjoy a fullback coming across or from behind in defence to make a tackle. This is probably the best I ever watched which most Tigers and Magpie fans would enjoy. McIndoe was the "Emerald" express but not fast enough to get away from Jack.
