NRL admits bunker mistake

Sorry mate but he has made a lot of noise and backed down as usual which makes me question his judgement and ability.

Having said that his testimony also needs to be questioned that he did in fact hear audio and see transcripts of the audio and that there was some sort of certainty and proof that the audio and transcripts had not been tampered with in any way.

You are entitled to accept whatever you like, however I am not as easily convinced because there are too many unanswered questions to convince me that there has not been a cover up.
Give up

No worries, I was also confused because I thought all along that we had similar thoughts on the matter.
Have you two figured out what you are talking about yet?

You have got yourselves in such knots about this topic you are now arguing with and then making up with people who already agree with you.

V clever, I find no retort
No hard feelings mate, it's a forum, we can all have a few laughs and express our opinions that we are all entitled to do.

The only down side is when things get nasty and too personal which I see creeping in here at times and then you hear about what has happened to Paul Green who you would have thought has achieved so much and had so much to live for.

I guess we all have our dark moments, it just makes you stop and think what it is that makes people take drastic measures, could it be a word or an ill timed or poorly made comment.

I guess we will never know what pushes a person to take their lives.

Hope everyone has a nice day and take care of those around you.

For Christ sake, how many times have you got to hear it.

For the truth,
you and myself do not know for sure what that is here, and you keep making silly bloody statements like LEE is a lawyer and we must take his word for it, I once knew a lawyer,( nice guy ) until he turned into a bad one. For peace of mind, im sure an awfull lot of West Tiger supporters, and plenty of other clubs supporters would like to hear the tapes that were promised.

And one thing you and the NRL cant get away from is the statement the NRL made the day after the game was that they would provide the coversation tape between the referee & Bunker.

But you said the evidence doesnt matter, as we have Lee the Lawyer's word, see how far you get telling that to a Judge.

GOOD MORNING YOUR HONOUR, WE DID NOT BRING ANY EVIDENCE BECAUSE I AM A LAWYER AND MY WORD SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT.
Obviously missed the sarcasm Dennis. Lawyers are infamously untrustworthy - hence the wink.

Didn't read the rest of your post sorry because I'm sick and tired of the whole thing and reading opinionated posts.

The NRL has a moral and ethical duty that should also force them to be commited to maintain honesty and to always be transparent with the fans of every club.

But this integrity can be achieved by those sitting at the upper level of the NRL hierarchy, It has increasingly become evident that those pack of crooks at the NRL HQ have become to appear as if they own the game and not the thousands of the long-time paying fans who have been led to believe that they have no more say in this or any other serious matter.

There was absolutely nothing virtuous about the NRL's handling of the round19 robbery.

Not only have they kept their thief ref. Klein in his job which is a cover-up of their crime, but they have also ignored the multitude of the distraught WT fans when they refused to issue a simple request of making the round19 audio public,

The crooks at the NRL HQ have acted like authoritarians and dictators with total impunity.

From what i've seen the WT did try hard enough to get justice for it's fans but then realised that the these crooks were even much bigger crooks than they thought they were and forced the WT to back off.

But this injustice will never be forgotten and sooner or later justice and truth will prevail over these crooks.

You could well be right FT but I doubt very much we will ever get to hear the rd 19 audio.
We didn't get the 2 points we were obviously and definitely robbed of and we didnt get a grovelling apology from the NRL but we should have imo.

But what Lee H etc did achieve was to get the NRL to look at certain problematic areas that need to be addressed sooner rather than later, and every NRL club will benefit from our legal action.
So imo thats a pretty good outcome for the time put in by Lee H and Our Board and its all we are going to get.

Maybe its time to let it go and concentrate on happier times ahead? :)

You think paying for advice from Silks that you clearly have no case when you are supposedly a legal expert is good business??

Genius!!

What upsets me is that Lee has somehow convinced the gullible supporters that he is on their side while he incomptently spends club $$$ chasing a figment of his imagination!
Even if the situation is difficult, paying for legal counsel, including Silks, might be a sensible start toward exploring possibilities and understanding legal matters. However, it is critical for individuals to make educated judgments and evaluate the competency of the specialists they hire. In this circumstance, it's critical to evaluate the intricacies of the situation and the potential results, especially when dealing with immigration issues like the 485 visa. If we did the Turing test on you, what would the results be?
