Why would pro-vaccine people be distorting the data? What's the end-game? It seems you are the one falling down your own rabbit hole of conspiracy and plotting.

The easiest explanation for ICU data: that it is true. For it to be false, you have to invent a web of excessively complex, unnecessary and unexplained conspiracy that doesn't have the slightest crack or mis-step. For example there are 220 public hospitals in NSW and they employ approximately 123K staff. And you are telling us that NSW Health and/or politicians are cooking the books, and nobody at any of the 220 hospitals has figured it out yet? There are no whistleblowers in the greatest fraud of our era? And they are doing this because... they want to get people vaccinated for some reason other than COVID treatment?

If anyone is still trying to state that the vaccine doesn't work just think that someone in their 30's who refused to get vaccinated died today and about 1/2 of the patients in ICU are unvaccinated. The statistics are just damming.

It's not a political game where you take sides based on your beliefs. It's a virus and there is an effective preventive medicine available.

If you are so caught up in misinformation or politics it's probably time to reassess your life and seek help because it's really stupid.

Off course people who are vaxxed can catch and spread it but it is far less likely than someone who is unvaxxed.Some people are trying their best to reduce the chances of catching and spreading it to vulnerable people.

So Paul, if it is far less likely . . . . how do we have the astronomical case numbers of the past few days ? Please don't tell me that the 6% not vaxxed are responsible for these many thousands of new cases.
The "far less likely" spiel may well have held more credence for first wave covid, but the numbers suggest it's not so much the case for this new variant.
Hospitalisation is also way down, yet people are deriving statistics to suit their cause.
