As for the “around half” of ICU admissions being unvaxxed . . . how do you know this isn’t misinformation, or information that has been distorted to suit an agenda ? You are not stupid enough to believe that the vax supporters will never stretch the truth to suit themselves, are you ?
And lastly, your “effective preventative medicine” is not effective, and is not preventative.
So yes, if you are caught up in all this misinformation, it is time to reassess your life and seek help because it really is stupid.

Why would pro-vaccine people be distorting the data? What's the end-game? It seems you are the one falling down your own rabbit hole of conspiracy and plotting.

The easiest explanation for ICU data: that it is true. For it to be false, you have to invent a web of excessively complex, unnecessary and unexplained conspiracy that doesn't have the slightest crack or mis-step. For example there are 220 public hospitals in NSW and they employ approximately 123K staff. And you are telling us that NSW Health and/or politicians are cooking the books, and nobody at any of the 220 hospitals has figured it out yet? There are no whistleblowers in the greatest fraud of our era? And they are doing this because... they want to get people vaccinated for some reason other than COVID treatment?

If anyone is still trying to state that the vaccine doesn't work just think that someone in their 30's who refused to get vaccinated died today and about 1/2 of the patients in ICU are unvaccinated. The statistics are just damming.

It's not a political game where you take sides based on your beliefs. It's a virus and there is an effective preventive medicine available.

If you are so caught up in misinformation or politics it's probably time to reassess your life and seek help because it's really stupid.

Earl, one person is a relatively small sample from which to base facts upon. I would have said " one person tragically dying", but then one of you tolerant folks would have said that it's not a tragedy because he should have been vaxxed.
I don't know anyone apart from you that mentioned politics, but I may be wrong. You linked the aborigines burning the door to old parliament house to this discussion.

If you ask @earl it’s all the unvaccinated peoples fault that the virus is spreading lol

He didn't say antivaxxers are spreading it, he said they are over-represented in hospital.

The endless changes and mis-truths are the main reason I chose not to get vaxxed.
So, do you recognise that vaccinated people are catching and spreading this latest variant ? . . . or do you think that the thousands of cases every day are all unvaxxed ?

Off course people who are vaxxed can catch and spread it but it is far less likely than someone who is unvaxxed. Some people are trying their best to reduce the chances of catching and spreading it to vulnerable people.

So Paul, if it is far less likely . . . . how do we have the astronomical case numbers of the past few days ? Please don't tell me that the 6% not vaxxed are responsible for these many thousands of new cases.
The "far less likely" spiel may well have held more credence for first wave covid, but the numbers suggest it's not so much the case for this new variant.
Hospitalisation is also way down, yet people are deriving statistics to suit their cause.

Seriously you talk complete dribble.

Need to change the title of this thread to "Wests Tigers Forum Anti-Vaxers."

Anti-vaxxer lies and fantasy stories.

It's pretty funny.

Damn.

Shouldn't have got that vaccine, I always wanted to hit the side of the Jukebox and make it turn on.

Hogwash, the anti vaxers have no proof just endless speculation and misinformation.

Yep but it's actually worse than that and the anti-vaxxers on this forum have really shown me the light. They are playing a political game.

The misinformation is all political. Facts don't matter. They are playing a political game.

This article shows how bad these people are. The absolute scum of society.

***This is all a direct flow on from the extreme right in USA politics,as bad and misleading as it is here and in many other countries it is far worse in the USA.***
I talk dribble ? Ha !!
This quote from you is dribble.
What has the USA got to do with this ?
It's a wonder you just didn't come straight out and blame Trump.
The extreme left, on the other hand, will look you in the eye with one of their faces and tell you how tolerant and accepting they are . . . . until you disagree with them, then you will see their other face that is abrasive, abusive, abjectly intolerant and just plain obnoxious.
Ironically, some of the terms they use to describe the right.

Having been found to have legally met his visa requirements by the courts, it is time for our government to apologise and let Djokovic ride the wave that our leader created.

How ridiculous is it to stop someone who has had the virus and currently negative from entering your country when you created the environment that has it awash with the virus and dozens to be dying by the day.

More lies and deception,i have never blamed Trump for causing covid just for downplaying the dangers of it to his electorate and advising them to try the same witchdoctor cures you favour.Give my regards to Elvis when you talk to him next time in your burrow

Correct, with their petulant behaviour, the Feds and State governments destroyed all the trust in the law and lawful process. And the sad thing is that there is no opposition from the ALP/Greens/Human rights crowd!

It is disgusting by our government. I’m embarrassed to be an Australian. If the immigration minister exercises his power of discretion to cancel his visa, it clearly is a personal attack on the djoker.

Easily embarrassed ….wgaf

When its 95% vaxxed to 5% unvaxxed there will be a greater number of vaxxed affected. But this will all be interpreted as it being a pandemic of the vaccinated.

Only a few will look at it that way (the conspiracy crowd anti-vaxers).The rest of us will be able to understand why more vaxed will get it but to a less dangerous degree

Quite amazing that at morning tea time the next day for many, we still have a government contemplating sending Djokovic home despite a court ruling.

Especially so as he was almost certainly used as a distraction for another failure playing out and indeed disgusting.

Scamo is still trying to work out how many more votes he is liable to get if he cracks down hard.Whatever poling suggests is the most popular outcome is the way he goes.
