NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series – Week 3
\
\
\
First Preliminary Final: **Melbourne Storm (2) vs Cronulla Sharks (4)**, AAMI Park, Friday, September 21, 7.40pm (broadcast on Nine from 7pm)

NRLW: Brisbane Broncos v New Zealand Warriors; 5.15pm
\
\
Second Preliminary Final: **Sydney Roosters (1) vs South Sydney Rabbitohs** (3), Allianz Stadium, Saturday, September 22, 7.40pm (broadcast on Nine from 7pm)

NRLW: Sydney Roosters v St George Illawarra Dragons; 5.10pm

As Souths seem to be the only team not on the noses for WT fans (except for Russell) they are probably our favourites.

The Sharks first GF win may have been tainted but not proven yet but as Sydneysiders we don't really mind if they win again.

We won't really mind if Teddy advances with Roosters to prove that at least WT did have a great player once recently.

Two more solid games this weekend would be fantastic.

If Cronulla had to do funny things to finally win a GF surely it is forgivable. I like the roughy Gallen over pretty-boy Cam - still pretty coz he offloads before he is uplifted.

I doubt that Woodsy will hold up against the giant Melb pack but good luck to him and hope he plays his heart out to finally get into a GF.

Surprised he didn't get injections for it. As jadtiger said, sharks improved with gal missing.

Hoping the Sharks can get up but think they have too many forwards out injured.

Souths and Roosters should be a great game - leaning towards Roosters.

So unfortunately a Storm v Roosters grand final is looking likely.

What a spewsome prelim finals series. Souths are only marginally more palatable than the Broncos, apart from that it is the 4 most hated teams in the NRL battling it out. There are no winners here. Salary cap cheats, drug cheats and gits who drop their wang out and then get upset for their family because they have been caught out…......this prelim series has the whole gamut covered.

One things for sure.. If cronk plays the gf.. Strom will definitely try rip his arm off

No surprise Storm verses Easts Grand Final.

I expect Billy Slater to get off his shoulder charge and play in the Grand Final.

I expect Cooper Cronk to miss the Grand Final.

Storm to be too strong for Easts.

Cameron Munster player of the match.

All likely outcomes imo. No way Cronk will play. Word is his injury is as severe as JT’s injury that kept him out for the second half of the season last year. If that’s the case, the Roosters are delusional even considering playing him. If he’s out, it’s the Storm’s gf to lose imo. With or without Slater.

Slater cannot get off…I cant see how he can get off..
It was a shoulder to shoulder contact...classic shoulder charge
The lawyer theyve hired got Wighton & Burgess off SCs
Burgess' was nothing more than a defender bracing for impact:

bugger it

He's gone , unfortunately played his last game of NRL

Roosters got all the calls , more disgraceful refereeing , the Souths no try the pass went backwards Melbourne are going to have to beat them outright

Souffs losing was nearly as good as The Tigers winning the GF.

Loved every second of it - the more bad calls they got the more i loved it.

Someone said they had won 21 premierships (20 legitimate ones anyway).

Now moving on to next week - toss up who is the worst (unfortunately one of them has to win).
