NRL INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT REVIEW ON WESTS TIGERS

Very good article by Roy Masters pointing out that change starts with the club embracing a move to Campbelltown.
It's the commonsense future.
I'm sure this would be unpalatable to the orange men, but are we after a winning future or a nostalgia trip?
The future is not Campbelltown. Not 100%, and never will be. There will always be a split between the inner west and south west. Always. It may be a 7-5 split in favour of ctown, sure I can see that happening
But the club will never abandon the bulk of it's fanbase. The club couldn't survive that.

That would defeat the purpose of professional recruitment process.
I'm not asking for a 'professional' type of answer.
I'm just asking you to throw something around in the way of an answer to my prev. post and this post.
When you go to bed at night and dream about WT, as I'm sure we all do 😀 you must have thoughts about people you consider to be ideal and would do a great job on our board.
Don't be afraid to come out and tell us. No one will hit you. Give it a go 👍.

We'll be averaging 10k next year at home. We won't survive that either. They've really played this 24 years well.

That's what all failing businesses say when faced with change, "I'll lose my regular customers".
For every fan we'd lose there's 3 more in the southwest desperate for a local team to love.
If I walk down the streets of Balmain , Birchgrove, Lilyfield etc. and ask 100 random people who the Wests Tigers are 99 of them wouldn't know what rugby league is and the other one's a Souths supporter because she finds the colours calming.
If we embrace the southwest they'll embrace us.

You will find WT supporters all over Australia,i live in the Manly area and there are many WT suppoerters here, some followed Balmain some the magpies and we picked up more when Benji was at his best.Getting wins will solve many of our problems nothing more and nothing less

I’d like to see a provenly successful, well connected and strong business person with passion for the club that is willing to be the Tigers equivalent to uncle Nick and I would suggest no one in Australia fits that description other than Harry Triguboff

The wins won't be coming under the current structure though. It's a bit like saying the problems with my car would go away if it ran.

Harry is 90.
It takes him 10 minutes to get up out of a chair.
Way past his best.
Blue wiggle fits your parameters far better.
