Well from what I've seen with Khee Cam he might be quick enough to play in the centres

Lot quicker than I thought

I suggested Chee-Kam for right centre in the thread about us buying him, and I said earlier today I have high hopes for him, he has pace and can defend, something we need both of.

I think Naiqama looked a lot better than him in the centres.

Who was the bloke who made the trysaver on Wright to stop a certain Cowboys try,was that Chee Kam? Number 15 I think it was. That was a ripper.

That's a shame, means Lovett will get more game time.

If the Lovett affair continues this year you will see so many Mactantrums let me tell you.

Chee-Kam made the stop and Naiqama finished it off and took him out.

Cheek-Kam played himself into the NRL side with that play imo.

Same with Jake Trbojevic, another classic technique tackler absolutely belted by Hurrell making a tackle.

Maybe the days of traditional tackling are numbered, can't coach these kids to tackle in a way that gets their bell rung. Concussion is too serious.

little john looked great. made some really good decisions with the ball. i like his style and his defense was great. If moses decides to go, i think this guy will be a gun outside brooks….

He did look good, he needs to play more and Drinkwater needs to play less tomorrow if we are any chance.

Very hard to judge a player in this format, but I think Chee-Kam is a must for at least a bench job come round 1 and I also agree Naigama best position is in the centres so that obviously frees up a wing position

well, as you say the format makes it hard to judge, though Chee seems to have enough going on he would at least be worth a try on the wing…

Kev was iffy to say the least under the high ball, couldnt see him being much worse.

people might bag me for this but ado carr will kill it on the wing. he is just so determained, i know game 1 he had a shocker but in game two was much better. so much pace and when he missed that tackle he was so upset with himself. thats what i want to see. I sure he will come good. needs to work on his ball security and maybe his takling…?

Can I ask, does Simona look like he has his toe back?

he looked fit, elusive and as if his game was more complete.

Its only the 9's but he looks primed…

Totally agree,he looks really comfortable out there.
Injury free,he will wreak havoc this season.

There is a movie opening next week at most cinemas called "Concussion" which is based on a true story about how NFL officials tried to suppress a doctor's research findings on the effect of concussion on NFL players.

Cassell just got it wrong big time and when he watches it again he'll be the first to admit it

Sure as hell won't remember it , that's for sure

Watched most of the games today - it's a really poor standard tbh. Very few teams at anything close to full strength, and basically in the middle of off-season training - I don't think anyone has played a trial as of yet?
Anyway, we were very poor in the first game. We've obviously not had many training sessions in this format, and it showed. No real plan, a lot of off the cuff stuff and as a result we kept making bad errors. In turn, we barely had any ball and certainly no field position and we all saw the results.
Second game, we looked after the ball, defended a little better and got a bit of luck. Funny, I didn't think we actually played that well and yet we knocked off the premiers, who were also playing most of their FG squad.

Tbh I'm sure it'd be a good day out at the ground itself, but I struggle to get any enjoyment out of it otherwise. Very few teams take it seriously, so there's little point to it.
