Foran looked cooked at the Warriors. I can’t work out how he managed to convince not one but two NRL clubs to offer him a contract.

Well, I think he is on a basic wage - A $6 boxed trifecta each Week and a Melbourne Cup Sweep ticket if they make the finals.

Re Titans,and Warriors,-- what a yawn fest! I thought i was watching a Flegg game. Or maybe the standard of play on friday night was just so much quicker?

Nothing has beaten the standard of play since Friday night so far

Clearly those two will be up there abouts

May be biased but I reckon our game will be played at a fast intensity like thursdays...unless it rains

95% chance of rain or something like that lol

And Sunday's weather in Canberra also has possibly up to 25mm also, I heard back on Friday. The Raiders fans I was talking to thought it would disfavour the Raiders? I'm not sure why they thought we'd be better in the rain.

Panthers started very well and held the ball.
Their attack struggled but geez the Cowboys turned up for each other in defense. The score reflected the game. Panthers dominated.

So far the top 3 squads Storm, Panthers, Roosters have all come out strong and have set the benchmark.

Don’t have much

Take Cleary out of the side they are ordinary some of their younger backs may suffer the second year syndrome


I know we haven't played to date, but I'm super confident of a great season ahead. With the speed, skill, experience and power of our backs coupled with a good list of forwards with extensive depth, I reckon we're looking very strong. I don't get the love for Souffs, I'm hoping for a second year flop for the Panfers and I have my fingers crossed for a few injuries to bring down the rorters and Melbourne. Voodoo dolls lined up ready to go starting tomorrow with my little raider named Hodgo.
Very happy to hear Penrith aren't on fire tonight.

Souths will give it a shake. Arrow will make a massive difference to their forwards, and like last year they will be slow starters but come mid season when Trell is fit they will be up there in the top four......but I still hate them

I;ve made it pretty clear I believe we'll do very well this season in numerous posts. Don't worry mate, Im a believer.

Yeah, agree and he's lost a lot of weight , he was always solid but looked a little fragile to me.

On paper it's definitely better than ours, hence why I said it *should* favour Canberra. If we can at least hold our own with their pick and get some decent field position we can win, although it's easier said than done
