I think Titans completed 32/32 sets and lost 56-24. If we played these Sea Eagles today we would have lost by 90.

I'm not sure I agree we 'kept' giving it back to them in the first 15 minutes; we barely had it to give back. I believe we had a total of 3 tackles in possession when they reached 30 pts. Even Bellamy said as much re the flow of the game.

It very much shows how important momentum is.

I was having the exact same thought. If there’s a worse feeling, surely it’s gotta be that you had the game in the bag and then blew it. Lol

Peter V football is all about momentum and possession. The massive imbalance is causing the blowouts. I think we need to have the team that scores kicks off in order to spread the possession flow. Our game was over after having no ball for the first 20 minutes and today both the Dogs and the Coast had no ball for the second half.

Yep and throw in helmets to prevent head knocks and there are so many forward passes now we may as well allow them to be part of the game - and lets expand this new game to the US where they will have more understanding of the rules than any of us have.

Sorry but that's not correct. We were 12-0 down and 8 minutes into the games before we actually had a possession. We had a single hit up then Ken M hit it up and was pinged for a play the ball error.

They scored 3 more tries to get to 30-0 before we had another possession. So in total, we had two tackles in possession at 30-0.

Yep that's right. The first 12 points. You just confirmed what I was saying. Handed the ball back to them with stupid mistakes.

Its not turning - it already is rubbish. I'm 68 and played in second div in sydney and firsts in a few country towns. Cracking down on head highs is a good thing and i applaud it but it has to be done with common sense on the refs part. An attacking player can't lead with their elbow or they will be penalised but yesterday a defender slipped and copped the elbow of the attacking player - nothing happened - play on. Yet when an attacking player slips into a defender its a penalty and a possible sin bin. And 6 agains - what rubbish - what was wrong with penalising a player for ruck infringements and using the bin for repeated offences. Vlandys has single handedly destroyed what was once a great game.

You could argue that but probably not in the normal classification of errors. Statistically we had 3 more errors that Storm and only 1 in the first 20 minutes.

The Storm are the best drilled team in the league - they had momentum and we - like most other teams - couldn't arrest it.

I still rate Barrett in front of Madge as a coach I would like to have coaching my team, Barrett has had 14 rounds with an ordinary roster, they are showing more than Madge with his 3 years and his roster

That I agree with, but our roster is far better than where we sit on the table, that I reckon is hard to argue with, and that sits with our coach, who has not improved us in 3 seasons
