Bulldogs seem to get a free ride from the media.
They haven't won a comp. since 2004 yet we have to endure all the "dogs of war" rubbish and praise of their "great club".
It doesn't matter how badly they get flogged every week their coach is lauded.
It's just strange.

Ya think so? I’ve actually seen quite a bit of crap written about them over the past few years.

I'm talking more of this year.
The coach left Manly because he said they had a poor list and worse resources. Des comes in and does much more with less.
This year the Bulldogs have been far worse with a better roster than Dean Pay had, yet Trent gets a soft run from the media.
They just seem to ignore his diabolical coaching record.

Yeah you’re right when I think about it, they copped a lot of crap when both Hasler & Pay were in charge, not so much now with Barrett, despite the team playing worse. Barrett is a protected species for some reason.

coz we are one?

Since day one we have always struggled against rubbish teams but competed well (usually) against the better teams. Teams that have been on long losing streaks normally break that streak against WT.

100% and you can guarantee we will lose to the broncos and dogs and the same comment will be made in their following games

Same comment was made when the knights hardly win a game few yrs back… and when they did win games it was against us

Broncos and dogs know we are mentally weak and will be in for the fight knowing it’s their best chance to get a win
