Two best coaches in the NRL now ask your self is Madge a bad coach ? how much is it the cattle you have and how much is it the coaching

My only issue is it, at worse, it looks like there's not a single competitive bone in the WT team. This has to have an impact on what other players think of our team/club.

The Tigers are the Club Med of the NRL or maybe ... Weekend at Bernie's.....

This might sound stupid but I honestly don't feel we're one of the worst teams and think we only need several key positions filled, but as far as I can see there's too much repition with poor habits and not much forward movement to realistically determine how far off we are.

I'll raise you, we are two players (two centres) and 1 rule change away from being a good team. If the game slows an iota teams like the tigers and Newcastle fly up the ladder. Manly, souths and dragons plummet. WTs are too big and not mobile enough, if the grind comes back they will win more than they lose. The way games are blowing out at the moment it's not unreasonable to think a slower game could come back, player welfare be dammed. Only time will tell.

The game sucks and is the least entertaining it's ever been since I can remember.

Found this bit of humour captures the ugliness of the game.

I wonder if we would feel the game sucks if Wests Tigers were scoring all the points instead of having them scored against us?

It’s the 7 other games we’re not emotionally invested in that are the problem.
I enjoyed Wimbledon more tonight - and they were on rain delay!!

Mitch Moses is a liability. The only thing he's good at is kicking goals ..

I'm glad he is good at kicking goals - I could see that by how he won the game on full time.

I'd say the only thing he is good at, is swinging his arms, tanking, running across field, not tackling, crying and sooking.

YES!!! :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:

I’m sure we’d be a chirpy bunch. However as someone who’s often watched most games, it’s honestly become unbearable to watch team after team get flogged.
The year as a WT supporter has been depressing enough.

How on earth is this a more innovative or entertaining game? ![alt text](

Verrils, Hutchinson and Radley have come through there system, and are very much experienced now, and valued more, I think they would be getting paid more Seyforth , Madden and Blore. Also when younger they were able play with players like Cronk, JWH, Cordner, Keary, and now Tedesco, Morris bros . The Roosters not only are able to buy the best players, but retain there developed players, and if lose someone there is usually a good reason for it. That side the Roosters put on the field against the Storm, on paper would be far better rated than the Tigers, yet they got smashed, just as we did, however we cop more abuse over our loss than Roosters.

New rule change next week ..
The side that scores will kick off for the next passage of play .

Gees it's about time to Hobbo1.
I'll never forget a game at Kogarah Oval Wests V St George probably late 60's.
St George scored...Wests kicked off...St George scored...Wests kicked off. Their forwards ran through us all game, Wests never got the ball, Saints ended up winning by 40/50 points.

We need relegation back in the game. The gap between professional and the bottom of the ladder is way too big.

We’d end up in div 4

I see us more as non-league, National Conference. Maybe Conference South.

Would players have to take turns on the bbq?

You would hate to buy a sausage sandwich from MBye it would be inedible and cost about 50 dollars

Why?

These new rules suck ass. Never been less entertained by footy

Agree I hate the 6 again rule and it needs to go....

I still think the salary cap needs to be looked at in details including TPA.

Just an example for you - We player Souths tomorrow and they have 6 current SOO players playing and that's not including there halves who played last year in Walker and Reynolds.. Thats 8 in 1 team yet we struggle to have 1 and I know we are accountable for that.. Its fair to say pretty much every SOO player is on good coin at there clubs so it blows my mind how they can fit 30 players in under the cap..

The story from journos is that players are willing to go to winning clubs like Melb, Roosters and Wabbits for less $$$ and that's how they supposedly stay under the cap.
That's why it's so important for Us not to pay overs for any player. That way we know the player wants to play for us, not just for the $$$ he wants Us to pay him.

I don’t wanna hear this garbage narrative ever again of “oh at least the bulldogs try every game”, hogwash.
Dean pay never got beat that badly and he fielded way worse game day teams then that. Surely the power brokers at the club are just a tad concerned about that. No idea how manly didn’t crack 70

Should of been close to 80 and that Turbo try off the kickoff was simply outstanding and shame it was taken off them. They are a real chance if no injuries to Turbo.

Would it be possible for a smart coach to devise tactics that will take Turbo out of the game?

He seems alright.
