You don't see Moses being rushed with his kicks like Brooks

Moses is a better player than Brooks

Another one we let slip through the cracks... ?

And the irony is Moses is on less money then Brooks even though he left the club to chase more money

IDK I think Moses is on quite a bit

This year he needs to make it or bust. I think anything less than prelims is a failure for them

Storm have become one of my favourite teams to watch the last 2-3 years just footy wise. So many entertaining players and characters in their team at the moment

They're very exciting to watch. That left edge is brutal.

Also used to love the '07-'11 Manly team. They would literally bash the other team out the game, then ice it with speedy backs. Unlike the Melbourne team of that era, they did it legally.

It blows my mind that manly beat storm 40-0 in the grand final when Melbourne were cheating. That manly team is one of the strongest ever

Calves blood.

Moses has always been better than Brooks. And will always be better but he wasn't that great tonight just controlled which is enough sometimes.

Not sure why JAC was penalised there? Was it for a terrible kick?

Ball carrying arm touched the ground so it's held, can't drag him out after that.

Stupid rule IMO . Was barely held

Great rule, tackle was completed.

Well gutho was on the ground for half a second Max

I don’t consider that tackle completed. If gutho was able to get up it would have been play on, so why can’t the defender keep dragging him out?

The ball carrying arm was on the ground with the tackler still in contact with him. Tackle complete. It’s been like that since 1908.

Except when the tigers play.

Brandon Smith ..not an 80min hooker..

That’s coz Melbourne has him in their squad as a lock / hooker cover. He himself has said his 10kg over his preferred playing weight.

I hate it when the team I hate the most plays like the way I want my team to play.

I keep thinking man I hate Parra the whole team act like petulant brats but then I would die to see any player in our tigers team show a little bit of emotion. (Other than Joey I mean)

Welch is a beast! So many effort plays, I'd have him in our side any day.
Cheese looked horribly out of shape.
Moses is still a myth.
Poor Matto... at this rate, by the time he ends his career he'll have been through 12 teams and end up looking like Mr. Potato-Head with legs for arms.

Storm fans trying to cancel bsmith for a pass that munster had to trample

He iw more than welcomr to come here😄😁😁

Huge effort from Parra.
Niukore played really good out of position. The Eels pack really stepped up also.
I wonder how long The Storm keeps Jennings in the squad for ? They must be counting down the minutes til Harry is back.

Especially now scam Smith has gone !

I'm one of the few who liked watching cammy play lol, absolute genius on the field.

Mate they missed him last night.

B smith is hopless at hooker
Reed Mahoney and Moses killed it last night at

That face when he is concussed.

Surely he retires soon.

They certainly did miss him. Brandon is a quality hooker, what's holding him back is his weight. He's openly talked about how he plays 10kg heavier when he's in the forwards and that's the weight he's currently at because Harry got injured in the trial. Brandon has shown plenty of times he's a very good dummy half on his day

Seems to happen a few times a season to him, alarm bells have gotta be ringing.

Melbourne are still a protected species, even without Cam Smith, their rucks are still a mess. The tactic is clear, if you don't win the ruck defensively, no problems just lay right in the middle of the play the ball. I also thought the gamesmanship x2 from Papenhuyzen was pretty average.
The refereeing in general was fairly poor, far too much inconsistency. Forward passes in particular were a coin toss. Can someone explain what the rule is around stopping the play for injured players off the ball? Lane goes down and they stop (ref tells Munster he has a duty of care), then NAS goes down and play continues. Same thing happened to us last week and resulted in a try (Simmonsson for them, Utoikamanu for us)
Felise Kaufusi is a dog, pretty clear intent for my mind, he knew it was a dog shot because he very obviously avoided any form of contact after that incident, I saw him **intentionally** running in front of the ball carrier numerous times so he didnt have to take the hit up.
Anyway rant over, can we take Nuikore please?
