Long season, but they’re looking very likely right now. A much improved side from last year with an abundance of riches - makes me puke! They have so much talent in their team they won’t even miss a player with such promise as Diane Laurie, won’t even bat an eyelid about losing him. Oh to be a club in that position.

I’m on surf lifesaving patrol tomorrow at the Northern end of the beach you mentioned. I often see peeps with WTs caps & other merch always make sure I salute them or just say g’day.
There is a rule at Queenscliff you can never say the M word. We refer to M as South Queenscliff. They have always tried poaching our best talent swimmers & Ironman/women.

Should be good weather for it! Fond memories of Queenscliffe, did my Bronze there as a youngIsh teenager, kept my board downstairs in the old lockup. Would catch train and ferry to get there on weekends, good times.

You should be holidaying at Campbelltown or Tamworth!

Took the missus and kids to Manly beach about 4 or 5 years back. They were digging in the sand and found it almost impossible to not dig up either hair or ciggy butts. Beautiful spot that one. :nauseated_face: The beach is much like the club. Somewhat glamorous, but kind of rubbish below the surface.

Panthers are an entertaining team to watch. Passing & attack just so slick & crisp. Capewell's try off Cleary's short grubber was a fluke.
