Panthers and us are at two opposite ends of the spectrum at the moment.

Last year the phone sex scandal ruined Penrith season and relied too much on Maloney.

something in the air this week. Lopsided scorelines galore

Never seen a greater gap between the top 4 sides and the rest of the comp ever before. Then there’s another gap between the next 4 teams and the bottom 8 also rans. It’s like the teams are all playing in 3 different divisions, not one comp. The NRL are getting exactly what they’ve been wanting for a long time.

It’s like the teams are all playing in 3 different divisions, not one comp. The NRL are getting exactly what they’ve been wanting for a long time.

This 6 again rule has had too much of an impact IMO. I reckon if I went through every game since the rule was implemented the teams with more 6 agains by 1/2 time would have invariably won the game.

Possession stats are way too lopsided for the top teams because of these 6agains based off of 1 refs interpretation of the ruck.

Desperately need the 2nd ref back to calm things down. They’re showing bias towards whichever team is dominant early and sticking with that bias for most of the game.

There’s basically no momentum swings throughout the games like we used to see. One team gets ascendency then maintains it
