Roosters didn't even try to target Marsters.

Green is done. This is a state cup team with two or three quality NRL players mixed in.

He recruited, over rated his talent base and paid way too much for a fullback they didn't need

Seriously though I’m just so sick of these guys always making these comments about how many ‘great’ players Wests Tigers have let go/lost every single time! We get it already, we’ve lost some good ones, but so have many other clubs.

You can’t tell me Souths fans aren’t disappointed at losing a player of Keary’s calibre, even Crichton as well! What about Manly letting Gutherson go? Or the Bulldogs losing Klemmer, Finucane or the Morris brothers? We never hear squat about how those losses have affected those teams fans, only ours. Heck we never even heard them talk about Thurston being a loss to the Bulldogs as much as we hear them banging on about Tedesco and Moses - God knows why with the latter tho, he is no loss at all!

Keary easily, he is the one in control of the entire Roosters team. I’m sure Souths fans would be chuffed if he was still playing for them. They wouldn’t be struggling like they are now with their inconsistent halves pairing that’s for sure.

Sure they would, but it’s more devastating losing Tedesco. You can replace players like Keary. There’s no replacing Tedesco.

Unpopular opinion but I wouldn't pay $1m for him. He consistently makes huge metres and is a great player, but I think i'd rather take 2 x $500k forwards instead.

They've spent huge money on Taumololo, Holmes and Morgan and McGuire, McLean, Hess and Marsters would all be on good money too. Doesn't leave much cash for anything else and doesn't allow much balance in the squad.

They've recruited poorly and letting go of Brandon Smith, Ponga and Kikau is criminal. No idea how Green still has a job.

The funny part is they never really talked about how great Tedesco was until he went to easts. They said he was a good player and carried our side.

Fair enough with Tedesco, but the commentators don’t have to keep telling us, I think we know already. And when they say how much of a loss Moses is to us in the same breath...we’ll that really does my head in!

I’m really only trying to point out that Keary, the Morris twins, Klemmer and quite a few others have been huge losses for other clubs as well, but they are never mentioned as such. They always seem to only focus on who WT have lost/let go. Even the Bulldogs never copped as much flak for letting Thurston go at the time and when you consider the heights he went onto reach, that’s saying something.
