so for season 2011, do we wait and see if any new signings happen?
could this lead to some dis-appointment
I am guessing that we should just be happy with the talent that wests-tigers have, and watch the coaching staff mould this team, into a fearsome squad.

Matt Orford has asked Bradford for a release from his contract. Having another 2 years to go, do you think

they'll release him? I doubt it.

Everyone has a price, especially now that the Dogz forked out for the release of Greg Eastwood.
 
He'll cite compassionate grounds. Bradford said in the paper they won't hold on to a player that isn't happy being there.
 
Bradford have a history of releasing players for HUGE transfer fees!!

They did so with Fielden to Wigan for a record fee (more than contract value)!

If Parra want to pay a similar amount for a 33 year old - it is up to them - but it will price the Sharks & Raiders out of the markect!

PS - CB - Bradford have made no such comment in the paper - their quote was "nothing has changed. he is still contracted for the next two years. He is due back for training at the beginning of November."

How you read a willingness to release him from that I have no idea!!! Read the article before citing it and giving credence to the unnamed/unquoted "English source"!!!!
 
OK, I suppose I am guilty of citing an unnamed source, I have to admit I breezed over the article during my lunchbreak, but commonsense would dictate that Bradford won't keep a player on the books that doesn't want to be there.

And next time you want to puff your chest over an internet forum and insinuate someone is an idiot, try not to be such a condenscending arse about it.

Wests magpies…. can play fullback wing centre 5/8 lock backrow and hooker.....leading try scorer 2 years running...NSW residents representative......

He has not played FG but was 18th man a couple of times...

You must have seen his name mentioned on numurous occasions as an alternative to Beau...Fitzy....etc...

Can find nothing official on Rhys signing with the Rorters...

Pritchard has been one of the best players in the NSW Cup for the last couple of seasons. Can't believe he didn't get a go in first grade here.
 
Thx Guys - I had Heard his name but I wanted a refresher.

Whats Rhys Go??? - If he can play all those positions thats like John Morris/Daniel Fita " **the ultimate Super Sub**" and… He must have an issue somewhere or to someone or is he simply born at the wrong time...

There seems to be a few of these guys on the fringe.

I wonder if all other clubs have the same ssues or the WT in particular because we have 2 NSW Cup sides (Another Thread I Think)
 
We can only put 17 on the paddock every week and when you have a squad of 45-50 players who have been earmarked to play at the Top Level, you are always gona lose a few…

If Rhys was apart of our Top 25 this year and didnt get a jumper, you cant blame the guy for looking for greener pastures.

At the end of the day, I cant see him gettn a run at the Roosters either...
 
I don't get to watch State cup, (I would if it was on free to Air), However I'm told that there is a pretty big difference to NRL, Is this correct???

Also

Was Blake Laz / Sean Meany in under 20's or NSW Cup. Both these guys seemed to struggle a little in FG. (Meaney did show promise though I thought)

We still get Free to Air Queensland Cup games in Queensland. Maybe you should write a letter to Geoff Carr considering he is dictating the future of the NSW Cup to everyone?

Both Lazo and Meaney where State Cup…
 
I thought Pritchard should have been given a go in first grade before Meaney to be honest.
 
If Pritchard isn't getting a run I don't blame him, just like I don't blame Gower for going to the Dragons… I hope they both go on to get time in FG and make a fist of it.
