Looks like Parra is missing Ricky Stuart

That's OK , build there hopes up for 2014 , so the rest of the NRL can tear them down again

Parra are February football specialists

But yeah they might have improved on last year

I don't hate them at the moment so good on them… They're too pathetic to hate at the moment

Cue the Parra supporters out of the woodworks in their droves. They beat a 3-4th string team, and MITCH ALLGOOD was frickin captain at one point.

surely they can't get excited beating a team with what ? 1 or 2 1st graders lol.

I just received a PM on my facebook from some muppet in an NRL group I'm in. He knows Im a tigers supporter, and clearly didn't realise the tigers had TWO trials that day, and sent a 4th string team north.

The deluded-ness never ceases to amaze - Parra are apparently genuine title threats now.

That is a classic  , let them get excited all they've been getting the last couple of years is SPOON fed

About right.

2 genuine props in those conditions against a rotating squad of 40 or so.

Still valuable game time which is the real purpose of the trials

Lets not forget Penrith were without 7 or 8 NRL players as well.

Yeah maybe so , but we were also missing Farah , Simona , Galloway , Fulton , Brooks , BMM .
So on balance of things a very encouraging result for us , I know it's only a trial .

Being there live last night….

The most encouraging thing to see regardless of who was and wasn't there.

Was the defence shown by the tigers. Very promising!

I still don't understand why they did this trial. It wouldn't have done the reggies boys confidence any good as they were slways going to be on a hiding to nothing.
They should of played against Camden or a combined Group 6 outfit and saved ourselves the embarrassment of having the wooden spooners putting 60 on us.

Have to say I agree. In any case, the lads will learn from it. The people in Alice would have seen a few meat pies being scored and that would have entertained them.

Yeah I agree it sounds that way , we are a work in progress, but our curse with injuries has started (halatau)

i disagree a bit, playing a proper 1st grade team can often give them a lot of experience in a far more fast paced environment and show them what's really needed to crack 1st grade.

it probably wouldnt help their confidence too much, but they understand they shouldn't be too down if the get hammered by a FG side.

I remember one time at school they cocked up the schedule and our B team had to play another schools B team and then their A team right after. needless to say the 2nd game didnt end too great haha, but we weren't that down on ourselves.
