NRLW Wests Tigers 2023

Unfortunately Jakiya Whitfeld has signed a 3 year deal with the Cowboys. Massive loss for our girls. Hard to really compete with NQLD though, made her one of the highest paid players in the comp & have given her the FB spot.

This is a big loss to the ladies side , I would have done everything and more to keep her , Bo has struggled last season , injuries etc , and we have her locked in for 2 more years , , the team showed they were nearly there as in competing , this loss is not good

She was by far our best back, our backline was pretty awful. We had a weak squad, with two strong performers, and now one of them have gone. Obviously heaps of time but we really can't afford to lose players as fast and dynamic as Jakiya.

Bo's days as a fullback may be over if we can get other players there, she's lost too much pace now. Maybe a good centre option?

Wests really hate fast players. That can be the only explanation as to why we now have zero fast players across ALL of our squads. Mind boggling stupidity.

Don’t blame her.

Excellent news in retaining Lutu as she will probably end up being one of the best woman players in the game.Congratulations to all the girls and i look forward to see them running around for the club in 2024
