NSW Cup Round 4: Balmain V Wentworthville

They went into the break up 12 to 6.

Meaney didn't play the first 20 as he was in transit from the NRL warm up at the SFS where he shadowed Farah.

In the end we ran out of legs and this was due to alot of newer guys, lacking one prop and positional changes.

Farlow signed to the Sharks last weekend or thereabouts as he has gone looking for an opportunity he wasn't getting here. Understandable but we missed him around the ruck.

We had our chances to wrap it up but just couldn't get it together.

Jake Clarke was excellent on Whatuira and Ryan was superior to Walker which were some good signs for our back up centres. Jason Schirnack was excellent and he and Flanno played the full 80\. Pearn played big minutes as well.

Charlie H was very good considering that he has had two sessions with the team in training only but obviously the combinations are not quite there yet.

Sam Latu went off from what looked to be a head clash but he will be right for next week.

It is a tough season considering the players we are without but troops should be coming back soon and the team are tightly bonded.

Oh and Mullaney is improving every game. He is becoming more and more confident in his role and it is showing,.

Was it Matt Ryan who played in the centres for BRET or Beau Ryan ?
I`m assuming Matt Ryan, but just thought I`d ask.

Looks like this team has had a lot of changes. Just looking through the team from the last couple of seasons and there are only 2-3 players still running around with BRET. The rest have retired or moved on. Going to take some time for this team to gel.
