Wests Tigers NSW Cup Coach Paul Fletcher has named his side for Round 3 against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Leichhardt Oval.

Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 3:00pm as Wests Tigers look to make it three wins in a row following victories over Newtown and Wentworthville.

Fletcher has retained a similar side to the one that defeated the Magpies 31-18 in Round 2, with new recruit Josh Drinkwater again captaining the side in the No. 7 jersey.

After making his first-grade debut in Round 1 against the Gold Coast Titans, local junior Kyle Lovett returns to the team and will start the match at lock forward.

Young gun Salesi Funaki has been ruled out of the match due to suspension.

Check out our NSW Cup team named to take on the Bulldogs in the video above.

Great line up and I'll be there to cheer them on however Fiagatusa has been playing great in the first two games and should start but I understand Lovett is top 25\. McDonnel was great last week also so hope he continues great form. Up the Tigers!!

I'd still like to see Cherrington start ahead of Luani.
We were a much better team with him on last week.

Cherrington is great running when there is one marker however I would feel comfortable with Luanis defensive presence. Or Luani at 6 when cherrington comes on. Cherrington needs a kfc bucket or two.

Cherrington > Luani

Team looks good across the park.
Still not sure about Sia @ 6

Good thing we signed Manumalealii then. Should be interesting to see how they juggle it though.
Akauola, Liolevave, Funaki, Fine, Fiagatusa, Inosesio, and maybe even Santi/Halatau. Someone (or two) has to miss out,

Cherrington will struggle to play 80 mins against men week in week out, so he's starting off the bench to help take the sting out of the game so he can come on and run at tired defenders. A slow steady approach while he physically matures will go a long way for a long career.

You can add Lovett to that list VT. A nice combo of aggressive and hard working players there. All of them aren't too far away from first grade. I'd expect at least 1 to move by mid season though. I'd also move Fine to centre for Lulia and let him be a backup for the squad

No Buchanan.
Do we take that as meaning Lodge is out tomorrow? And if so who comes onto the bench, Lio or Buchanan?

I wondered the same thing Sabre, but thought Buchanan might be cover for Tapau (after two weeks of head knocks). Am hoping Marty plays though, against Souths pack he'll be needed.
