Ogden to fullback and Reilly to
Center is an odd call, jnr Pauga
has been going good imo.
Sione must be affected by his
brothers court case but I hope he
channels that tomorrow.
It's good to see Aitasi starting too

They're playing their gun fullback in the centres too?

Hard game.
Can't see us winning.

Hope I'm wrong tho.

Man, Tuki went out of favour so quickly after all the initial hype #WestsTigersTings

Don't watch enough to know how he's playing, but it must be bad.
He's not committed, he's more
into animes and sneakers 😆

I know he's still young but I'm
honestly weary.. When it comes
to his commitment to his body
and and his trade he has none,
he just trudges about to be fair

I'm looking forward to watching our NSW Cup boys this week almost as much as the NRL game. Against a top team like Penrith, I'm eager to see ...

* Tumeth & Boyling in the backrow (@THE_POM mentioned some at the Club are keen on Boyling who was highly rated in Sharks JF last season & reportedly has tremendous work ethic & leadership skills)
* Tupou on the wing
* Reilly continuing his development as a Centre against a Jenkins or Turuva
* Aitasi James as a potential bolter for a T&T next season against 2 good Cup props
* Direction from Jake Simpkins & Liddle against this top Cup side
* A breakout game from Zane Camroux (fingers crossed)
* Israel Ogden proving that he belongs as a metre-eating line-breaking fullback

Isn't he on like 300k or something?
He's a baby.....

Was never going to work.

Less... he plods like a second
rower in rugby union. Set peice
technician - he's not up for work.
Nice lad, but I'm off him a bit,
doesn't get his work done 🥲

I don't want to sound harsh
on the young fulla @batboy
the fundamentals are all there,
and his second phase play is
good but doesn't work enough.

He has talent but doesn't appear to care enough to nurture it.

That's exactly it, unfortunately.
Nobody is writing him off haha

He can rest on the laurels of his
old man or pull his finger out,
he has plenty of time my friends.

What I'm saying is based off
observations/inside info, I've got
no doubt he can turn it around.

Tuki has been really good in Flegg, but hey, let's write off a 20 yr old front rower because he isn't an international yet.

You don't go from first grade to
Flegg, usually it's the other way
around. The kid needs to step up.

It's not his fault they tried him in first grade. All that means is he obviously wasn't ready for it.
Heaven forbid Matamua isn't a world beater next year. Or imagine if forum favourite Tumeth gets a debut and then doesn't do well next year.
Is everyone going to default to the same line of abuse; "they don't care" , "it was never going to work out" , "he plays like a rugby lock".

Remember Matt Hayden didn't do well in his 1st stint in the Aussie cricket side. He was dropped, got better and was awesome.

This throw away mentality is what the roosters do.

I rate the premise of ur comment
/argument, for sure. A lot of kids
don't make it though unfortunately.
I'm not saying Tuki is one, but the
numbers that speak to my point
are undeniable. Madge put him in
the cauldron a bit early it seems
but his regression is noted..
Wish him the best going forward
Literally and figuratively.
