Was just about to ask the same question, any news guys ?

Fitzgibbon scored a try.

Looking at the stats, it was a pretty average day for both. Gebbie ran for 58m, Fitzy for 82m. Both missed 3 tackles.

Tom Amone looked like he had a very solid outing again, 146m from 14 hit ups and 64 PCM, 21 tackles (2 missed.)

Decent stats for 49m.

Didn’t see the game but the match sounded like Madge made the correct call not making too many changes.

Wonder if they’ll make any changes to pack seyfarth and mikale did nothing wrong but amone and musgrove killed it with their meters.

Seyfarth was instrumental in our defence and also did well with the ball. He played in the middle whereas Blore will be on either the left or right. I see Liddle being promoted back to the NRL with Mbye moving to centre.

Seyfarth was instrumental in our defence and also did well with the ball. He played in the middle whereas Blore will be on either the left or right. I see Liddle being promoted back to the NRL with Mbye moving to centre.

I thought Seyfarth had a solid stint but Blore can play in the middle or on an edge if need be. Mikaele can be given more minutes too if we carry Blore instead of getting only 20

2 tries and a try assist is impressive, but our problem is on the other side of the ball.

I think he'll keep the same side barring injury given they won and kept the opposition to 8 points.

Seyfarth deserves to keep his spot tbh. He offers something unique to first grade. He seems to get better as the game goes on. He must be fit as hell. He also actually passes the ball which is something our other middles don't seem to do. If he can get his fitness up to playing 80 I would think he might be the 13 we're looking for.

As for our dummy half issue. I understand that Mbye offers versatility off the bench but if Liddle had have been the one to come on when Mbye did yesterday he would have torn the Dragons to pieces with how tired they were.

I think Liddle should get promoted again. Simpkin has shown where he's at.

The others will get their shot when there are injuries, which there are bound to be. We've been lucky in the forwards in that regard.

It's just really good to have a decent state cup setup. It has been very beneficial this season in letting players prove themself. So far Liddle, Simpkin, Seyfarth, Tom, BJ, Cini have all spent time there and proved their worth.

The issue for Liddle is that whike he would do better off the bench at 9 what it means is we have no backline replacement on the bench. We saw with the dragons yesterday and plenty of times this yr especially with more concussions that ou need backline depth on your bench and Mbye covers the whole backline.

I wouldn't be averse to just running with Mbye as a starting 13 tbh.

I like Liddle as a player, but i don't think there's room for him at the moment. Where would he go? Move Mbye to centres? Would you move BJ out of team? I think Talau must stay in the centres. He's not a winger at all and needs time to develop. Also, we have a forward-heavy bench so you need utility.

I would keep the team this week exactly the same as yesterday. It was our best performance of the year. Reward it.

It will make a noticeable difference if Musgrove can start to deliver consistently. You can see the potential but old mate is 25 and you start to wonder.
