I also find it amusing how some sections of the media talked about Hodges' IQ... "He has the IQ of a cumquote"- Ray Hadely.... Well Ray i like might to inform you that the average Rugby League player is not that intelligent... He could have said the same thing for everyone of them...

I supported NSW in game 1 and 2 because of Farah, then decided to follow QLD because of Ennis... But i just can't believe the respect of these pigs last night.

A liitle over the top don't you think…Its rugby league not tiddly winks...

At least their was a fair dinkum stoush not bearhugs at 10 paces as is the norm for a Rugby League fracar these days...

People moan about NSW lack of passion....Well there was certainly no lack of that on Wednesday

P.S. Their are some quite intelligent Rugby League players out there they have Uni degrees and everything....

I understand that Geo, but for most of the media to come out and bag Hodges is wrong…
 
Queensland have harped on all year about how they are going to sort people out and be aggressive but when the biff goes on and their biggest player gets dropped they start complaining.

Brett White should be the first guy picked for origin next year and if Hodges or Thaiday want to have a crack they'll end up the same place as Steve Price.

I don't like Hodges myself, I never have, but one thing he can do is fight…

Infact I'm pretty sure he is a black belt in one of those fancy named Asian martial arts...
 
Did he start training in the martial arts after his one fight in league where he got belted from pillar to post.

I think he still has to ring Dane Carlaw to ask permission to go out on a Saturday night. Thats how much of his [This word has been automatically removed] he was

So can Brett White. I think Dan Stains had a high level belt in martial arts but it didn't do him much good on the field.

White is a very ordinary footballer mate. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think he was on the bench for the Storm, wasn't he?

hahahaha, Hodges fight? Mate he has a massive glass jaw and will crumble as soon as its clipped. He got dropped by a nothing punch by a man smaller than him, and ive seen him in a scuffle with someone else (cant remember) and he looked like he had no idea. I dont care what fairy belt he has, the guy cant fight.

I was joking about picking White first and I agree on your assessment of his form. Then again he's much better than Perry…

But old school or not its clear you need more than fancy play to win origin matches and if White playing makes Queensland worry about belting him rather than play footy then yeah he's worth picking almost based on that alone.

I don't like White… but Price deserved to be KO'd, because he is the biggest dog playing with his diving at kickers.

Scott Prince & Tony Caine are just 2 I can remember that he has injured in this way.

I don't think Waterhouse should have been sent off either... it just looked bad for him.

What games do you watch? Poore has been in great form at club level and definitely deserved his jersey ahead of wastes of space like Bailey and Kite.

Brett Kimmorley was another, origin 3 2007\. Pretty much resulted in the sharks season falling to pieces, they got beaten in about 5 arm wrestle games in the last 2 months of the season.
