What are people's thoughts on Fifita playing. Imo if he plays it opens a can of worms. Would it make Taumalolo eligible because he plays for Tonga aswell

He **cannot** play - he has declared for Tonga.

He can play games 1 and 3 but cannot play game 2 because of a scheduling conflict with a Tonga game. He is eligible for selection.

That's a shame - think he should stick to Tonga.

He is.

So he said he will play if selected and donate money to charity…
(Fifita)

Legendary.

I think it's a great gesture but I don't think it's right. If he does play I'll cheer him on but what precedence will it set.

I'll be gutted if Moses is nsw seven. He's lower than a snakes belly. Should be banished from state selection for his treatment of his tigers team mates. Origin is about team. He definitely is not.

The precedent is already set by qld.
Do anything, no matter what, to win a game…........bring players from overseas competitions when it suits.
Change the facts as to where players come from .
Chase interstate players once they are big enough to walk.
LIE, cheat ,and steal if it helps to win an origin game,

They'd have him in a maroon jumper in half an hour if they thought that they could possibly get away with it.
And we should too.
But, we dont have too. HE'S perfectly eligible for the Blues
Hes so far in front of any other Prop at the moment that I dont care if he plays Tests for Lower Abbasinia.
No wonder Cammie has chickened out this year.He probably heard there was a chance of Fifita comIng back.
And i dont care about him playing only two games,

IT only takes two games to win an Origin Series :stuck_out_tongue:

Can't believe Peachey is in the mix honestly

SOO finds players like him out

Peachey is the type of player qld would have picked a year ago. He is perfect for origin.

Just like the term "Built for Origin" tagged for players like Mick Ennis haha

Actually not like that at all.

I never agreed with Ennis for Origin. If a hooker is this built for origin thing people talk about it usually means they have no skill.

Gould picked his Origin side full of Penrith players … including Merrin. What a surprise!

What surprised me is he left out 2 roosters

Plus he put 2 blokes in the centres who have trouble defending and being in the game for 80 minutes. Maybe he’s having a lend of us?

Fifita has been there, done that and failed. Clams up when it matters most in Origin. Time for some fresh blood in the forwards - Campbell-Gillard, Vaughan, De Belin, Sims, Crichton & Trbojevic step on up!

Maloney has just about owned the comp this year and you'd have Brooks in the six? 😱pen_mouth:

Gus got it right calling for Cordner not to be picked.

Not as good as Rowdy imo - and he won't be considered.

Over rated - if you pick on form, Cordner is not there.

Apparently the Blues side leaked online tonight. Take it with a grain of salt, but…

1\. Tedesco
2\. JAC
3\. Mitchell
4\. Roberts
5\. Ferguson
6\. Keary
7\. Maloney
